Hargreaves in a matter of minutes said more sense and insight into why Munich are currently playing so well than McManaman and Ince have said in the entire european commentaries since restart

Crikey

He looked shit at Arsenal

No he didn't, very very well regarded when he was there. Buggered by a bad injury and then never really given another go before they flogged him via one poor loan where Tony Pulis didn't fancy him, probably because he can play football.

Lyon are a good team to watch. Just needed to be more clinical

Baffling how they were 7th in Ligue 1 last season, so much ability in that team. Aouar is unbelievable.

Very bad start to the season. Rudi Garcia had a lot of work to do to rescue them and Depay doing his ACL was very bad for them. Like Pereira being out for us. Lost a lot of talent and influence missing a player like that.

They never really picked up any proper momentum. Unbeaten in a few games, lose, go unbeaten a few, lose. Quite inconsistent. Aouar is quality. When he and Depay were playing it made watching Lyon actually exciting. Probably didn't help they got cherry-picked like Ajax did in summer. Ndombele, Fekir, Mendy picked off for quite hefty fees.

Caqueret looks like a decent youth player though. Was good to watch against Man City.

Lewandoski has 15 goals in 9 games in the CL this season. The record is 17 by Ronaldo in 2014, but Lewandoski will have played two games fewer given the one legged quarter and semi finals. He's also scored in every game this CL season. Incredible!

One of the best centre forwards I've seen. Shame he's at the back end of his career.

Wonder how many times will Neymar/Mbappe fall over and pretend to be injured in a bid to deceive the referee..

Mbappe doesn't do it too much?

Neymar gets hacked to pieces most games. It's no surprise he feels the need to feign injuries to get free-kicks.

The worst ones are what we saw from Sevilla players and those like Godin in the EL final. Barely a little brush and they're holding their faces like someone's landed a Haye-maker on them.
