I think there's just an interest to know which players we were genuinely looking at, even if they didn't come to fruition it's nice to know which of the rumours were true targets

Man City, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea, United, Everton and Wolves. Everton and Wolves absolutely not. Everton’s tactic has been tried by teams previously outside the top six and how often does it work? The foundations of our squad have been in place for a while, we just haven’t had a good enough coach to make the most of it. Now we do, we have a top manager, and we’ve got a fantastic, energetic side that is a match for anyone in this league. Call me mental, but I’m going to predict we will finish 5th. We’re a lot better than people think.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 8 August 2019 Posted 8 August 2019 Rob Dorsett saying on Sky the club are confident they've got it done. Announcement in next hour.

Still means we play in Europe which is the ultimate gain. Plus silverware. Too 6 will strengthen guaranteed while the money is there. Look winning the league in 2016 was beyond my wildest dreams. As I am 42 I think we will win the FA Cup in my lifetime

lfu Posted 8 August 2019 Posted 8 August 2019 Delay is because the social media intern exported the wrong video, having to re-render it without a flattering shot of Slimani picking his nose

We’re a lot better than people think. I also think we're better than people think but I do think that Maguire was a big loss and we will miss him. I rate Caggers and Benko but they will make errors. You can't lose the world's most expensive CB and expect to be as strong at the back.
