I agree with you about Mavidid - he has been very good for us. However a lot of us thought lookman was good too and a no brainer for the price we could have got for him given what he had shown us. Worked hard tracked back kept the ball and had ability to go past players and score key goals. We probably didn’t buy him because the realisation of our financial predicament and poor management had probably already started to hit home

Getting ugly flashbacks of Rodgers refusing to give Lookman a go on the left. Steadfastly sticking with Barnes and continually playing Lookman out of position even when pace merchant but trickless Barnes had been found out by his fullback.

Yes 12m, when he played on the left he was better than Barnes, but even on the right when he came off the bench, he saved us in games, it was madness not to sign him, he'd have doubled his value immediately and we wouldn't have gone down

Lookman was decent in a broken team he has a much rounded game 

 

And have a look at Tnt sport.tonight and see what a player he has developed into

I think he cost more than Lookman would have, that's prime Leicester

So many on here just look at ways to blame the board. It's getting a bit daft. Lookman was OK at best for us.

 

Anyone ever thought that maybe Lookman didn't want to stay with us? He hasn't settled anywhere he has played in England and obviously needed a change. 

 

It's all getting a bit boring just finding ANYTHING to pin on the board.

He DID want to stay with us though. Came out and said he felt at home here. We didn't take up the deal
