Dammit, that's what I get for trusting what I see on socials and not looking it up myself.  lol

I was surprised he's that old. Doesn't seem like over 20 years ago when he played for us. Mad!

The more I see of KDH smashing it at Everton, the more pissed off I get about how things turned out.

Should have been a legend here.

He would have been like the old skool players who played in the 1900's for Leicester who you read about and admire.

You don't sell these type of players who actually grew up supporting  Leicester.

Only sell those players who think they are stars and want out of Leicester for big money, like we did with our foreign players and some of our British ones

Either Brighton don’t rate Facundo B or the really well run club aren’t the messiah of all clubs after all, as his value will have taken a huge hit after this season.

Think he made a bit of a mistake himself, you could see he was never getting a game at Chelsea with all the players they were buying. He should have stayed & fought or gone to a mid table club and played a full season.

Not sure he’ll ever end up at a top 4-5 side in premier lge tbh

They paid very little for him and they'll comfortably make a decent profit on him when they eventually sell.

Add in as well that they probably received loan fees from us and Chelsea.

Yeah his perceived value will have taken a hit but the players getting games in his stead will be having their values increase whilst the loan fees have likely more than paid his initial outlay.

Yet we spent 1/4 of the season on a run when we couldn’t score in a brothel.

I don’t think he was the answer, but we’ll never know as he wasn’t given the chance by RVN really.

He's having a poor season by his standards.

But I attribute some of the vitriol to people simply not liking him or looking at his age. It's the same among some Denmark fans who insist he's been finished since before the last World Cup, despite generally strong performances.

Yep it's so annoying that the poor running of the club has lead to this. Whilst we always will need to sell a player to fund transfers, i feel we could have kept KDH and he could have been here his whole career and been a legend like you said. Think the whole thing probably saddens him as well as he never wanted to leave. I'm sure he's loving his time at Everton but he'd have never left had things been different.

Ex-Leicester City keeper eyes up Wembley after stunning run with the help of a familiar face
Ex-Leicester City star Conrad Logan has led non-league side Anstey Nomads on a remarkable run in the FA Trophy

Anstey Nomads are the latest non-league club from Leicestershire putting themselves firmly on the map with former Leicester City goalkeeper Conrad Logan overseeing the start of an exciting era at the club.

The Nomads, founded in 1946, currently play in the eighth tier of English football and step four of non-league. After two consecutive play-off heartbreaks in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division, dreams of a long-awaited promotion to step three of non-league are alive, with them currently sat third.

However, it's their FA Trophy campaign that has got the small village of Anstey excited and the rest of the footballing world paying attention. Next month, Anstey, who have David Nugent playing for them, will travel to National League outfit Halifax in the fourth round of the competition.

To put their progress into perspective, they are just four rounds away from Wembley. Left in the competition are the likes of Southend United, Morecambe, Forest Green Rovers and Scunthorpe United.

“Every season over the last couple of years, we’ve done well and [the] cups, sometimes you get penalised with them because you’ve got a lot of games to play and catch-up," Logan explained. "You’re never ahead of teams; you are two or three games behind.

"To do well in the FA Trophy this year is great! It’ll be a busy end to the season with all the games we’ve got to catch up on, but everyone wants to be involved in winning games, whatever competition that is. It keeps morale and confidence high."

Nugent, who scored 59 times across 180 matches for Leicester City and is a former England international, has been having a huge impact on the dressing room since signing for the Nomads.

“I’ve known Nuges (Nugent) for years. His daughter plays for the football club, in my son’s team," Logan said.

"He’s been out of football and I know he’s done some media work, but he wants to do some of his coaching badges, so I asked him to come along. He’s a really nice guy and we’re a good group, so what the lads can learn from him, people will start picking his brains to see what they can do better. It’s been good fun and a positive move.”

Two weeks ago, Anstey travelled to Hartlepool United and produced the biggest upset of the competition. A goal in each half from Jordan Annable and Tendai Chitiza sealed the win, one that Logan described as "the best day in the club's history".

In the New Year, they will travel to The Shay Stadium looking to create another landmark moment in the club's history. "We’ve got an excellent bunch of players," Logan explained. "Yes, we’re only step four, a lot of these can play higher.

"Beating Stratford, Stourbridge and Bedford, we weren’t going into those games thinking ‘they’re bigger and better than us’, we went into them thinking we could do a job. Hartlepool, granted, there is a big gap! Yes, you may be the underdog, but they are good players, and they deserve it. The games that they have won, they have deserved to win.

“The Hartlepool one, as much as we can say we had confidence, no one expected us to win that. We had 300/400 fans come down and have a great day out, so the scenes there, not just for us, but for the community and everyone involved, it’s history. Fans have never seen that before from Anstey Nomads. Now, we have Halifax, and hopefully it’s the same, if not better.

“It’s another big draw against a club steeped in history. However, we go into it, and hopefully the lads can do themselves justice. The only thing I was worried about in the Hartlepool game was, potentially, the lads getting caught up in the occasion rather than the game. Hopefully, with the experience and confidence from Hartlepool, we can take it and see where it takes us."

“It’s fantastic for the community," Logan added. "We took two Ausden Clark double-deckers to Hartlepool, and I think we’ll be doing at least three for Halifax.

"It’s brilliant. I’ve been involved in the club for five years, Tony has been here for much longer and we’ve got people coming to support the club who we don’t know. Usually, you know everyone, which shows how much the club is growing and how many people in the community are behind it.
