Any Seria A aficionados know how close to a first XI this Atalanta team is?

Pretty much is.

Alejandro Gomez is on the bench who id say would usually start

In fairness Albrighton's gone up another level this pre season. Whether he can be trusted to sustain it is another question

Every pre season there's players who are "on fire", it's all a load of rubbish. He's been playing against dross.

We know what Albrightons level is, it's not a mystery, he's been here years.

Fun game so far.

Would Kelechi have scored?

I think this is a great match for the final friendly. It's like pushing yourself that bit extra in the gym. Not so much that you have no chance, but enough that you know you are going to be hurting afterwards.

They were the better side in the half but we finished stronger, and could have been one up through Vardy.

Think Rodgers will get into the players a little. Atalanta are controlling the game for large spells, and our passing is not as fast or as crisp as theirs. Quite literally if we want to know how to improve, try to emulate their style of play, where they move vertically up the pitch very quickly but generally through quick ground passes as one-two's.

Would like to see Soyuncu be a bit braver in possession.

Whilst we all know 80m is great business for Maguire, this game might look a bit different if we had a centre half looking to break lines and beat the Atalanta press. Too many patterns of play resulting in Kasper forced to go long.

Yep Torreira at Arsenal and Peter Crou .... ah no, he’s retired

Good first half, Atalanta are a class side and moved the ball around really well. Was until the last 20 that our guys found their accurate passing.

sadly Albrighton is a passenger at this level, his feet and speed of thought aren’t quick enough and looks like he’s on a different wave length to the rest of the team. Bring on The Barnes

Think Ryan Fraser is smaller.
