Compare to Faes who turned and failed to block Wolves first goal. Compare to Ndidi last game who also turned allowing the ball to hit his back and change direction leading to their first goal. Popular Post funkyrobot Posted 22 April 2023 Popular Post Posted 22 April 2023 Well done Cags. Immense performance. Rodgers has so much to answer for. 11
Popular Post FoxyLeon Posted 22 April 2023 Popular Post Posted 22 April 2023 (edited) CHARACTER....It's a meme thrown around with regards to Rodgers, but the truth is, he doesn't have a clue what he means. To him, a 'Great Character' was someone who blindingly followed him and his delusions, perhaps, dare I suggest, because of their inadequacies and lack of ability - take Joe Allen at Liverpool for example. Soyuncu is an individual who has real 'character' in abundance. The bloke has been mistreated by the Club, has an open invitation to join Atletico Madrid, and still, despite that, he played with the enthusiasm and desire that no fan in the crowd could match. foxfanazer Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 Colossus today! He's shown Rodgers up for the weasel he is 1
Chester Dontlie Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 An unlikely return of the cult hero turned pantomime villain turned cult hero again, that everyone (including me) had lost hope in! Take a bow Cags (Also, Brendan Rodgers is a ****) 1
UniFox21 Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 Another one of those absolutely baffling things. Had he been playing all year we'd not be in this shit. 1

Guest nathan. Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 To be frozen out all season and put in performances like he has is incredible.

Popular Post Blue-fox Posted 22 April 2023 Popular Post Posted 22 April 2023 Shows that Rodgers must have had personal vendettas behind the scenes. How he hasn’t played all season is ridiculous 7
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 Brilliant player and always has been, unfairly frozen out or not. Would love it if we stay up, keep him and he becomes our captain. 1
Chester Dontlie Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 Just now, foxfanazer said: I'm not sure everyone had lost hope in him Maybe not everyone, but there weren't many vocal believers over here. The Caglar Soyuncu new Leicester cult hero thread has been buried for ages and forgotten. Rodgers sidelining him and playing Amartey all that time made most of us even Cags fans like me (I made myself a Cags the Barbarian avatar at some point FFS) believe there are some very serious issues with Soyuncu. You don't do that to a player like Soyuncu (an international and a key player not that long ago) without a good reason... unless you're Brendan Rodgers apparently. I don't know what the **** was BR thinking. It looks like an act of sabotage now 2
oundlefox Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 Criminal to think in a season where at times our defending has been woeful, this guy has been sat twiddling his thumbs. Wonder if there’s more to the Rodgers story than him just not training well because he’s shown in the last 180 minutes why he’s a proven international defender. Absolute colossus 1
yorkie1999 Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 One day the story will come out about Rodgers, it’s absolutely criminal how soyuncu has been treated. 1
Foxxed Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 (edited) The fact that that **** not only risked our Premier League survival by freezing out Cags, but has also cost us at least 40 million by the fact Cags is off on a free to a Champions League club, still really grates. Number 6 Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 When he was first dropped it was probably fair. But there's no point doing it unless it's used to fire up the player and get him back to his best as you reintroduce him. Not burn all bridges and play a CDM at CB instead. Madness
Big Dave Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 Definite MOTM performance today. Seemed to have a great partnership with Faes, and both playing on their preferred sides. 1
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 This guy looked class and love his all round play, both halves he was brilliant.....big thanks to Deano....who now's quality players and seems like a father figure for Cags.....think he's worth 60m to 75m at least

Madness I would have just taken him playing a footballer in goal. 1
