One a serious note, you can see why people like Vardy sacked international football off. Getting called up, travelling around etc, then not being used.

Maddison will be changing his nationality to Ireland. 🤭

He played in Scotland for a year, so surely that must qualify him as Scottish ...please!

No chance Maguire gets the armband if he was still at City.

****ing sick of the big club bias.

Surely would have been Henderson had he still been on. Struggling to think who else would be next other than Maguire or maybe Trippier or Rose given their number of caps.

Putting Mount on ahead of Maddison for his debut is sticking two fingers up to the rest of the premier league.

Doesn't matter what your stats are, how well you play, how hard you work or how deserved your opportunity is, when it comes to England unless you are part of the big 6 brigade, you can think again.

Hope he finally gets his chance in the next game and puts in a man of the match performance, because it's the only way he'll remain in the team.

When do you get the point where you just reject a call up?

Sterling? Arguably England's best player and has grown to become an incredible role model off the pitch as well.

This will be a problem for a team like us claiming to be the path to the England team for young upcoming talent.

Say for instance we tried to get Sancho in January but Man Utd are also circling. Leicester are 6th and United are 9th. Where’s he going? Where do you think.

It basically says to the entire league that unless you're in a top 6 team, you're having to be fooking perfect to get a game

lol lol Southgate actually hates Maddison

About the same as vardy. Fuch knows what he's got to do. That's why vards retired. Was going nowhere with England while Southgate was in charge. Southgate Was touted as a manager that would select players in form whatever team they played for. Bollocks he does

Statistically maddison was the most creative player in the premiership  last  season  and up there  this season.

How is Ross Barkley still on the pitch?

Steve Smith has contributed more to the football than he has today

I have never got the Ross Barkley thing to be honest. I really don't rate him.

Which is why they all kick up a stink to get moves to those clubs.

He was decent when he kicked onto the scene, but has stagnated since then. He'll be out of Chelsea within 2 years

Exactly. And tbh at times you can't blame them, moving up a position or 2 seems to unlock you unlimited england minutes.

Rice is a big unit; I keep mistaking him for Maguire. He’s decent too. Hamza will have is work cut out to get in front of him.
