I have faith one of, Barnes, Perez or Kel would hit form. With the pace Barnes has, we could easily play the same way. With every letter I type im more convinced im just saying this to stop myself having nightmares.
Tanya Posted 30 September 2019 Posted 30 September 2019 In all seriousness, we need to create more clear cut chances especially from our wide men. I know XP goals can be misleading but we are overperforming this metric. I'm sure Brendan is devising ways to get our wingers in seriously dangerous positions more often. Teams like Arsenal are a joke defensively but score heaps of goals
KingsX Posted 30 September 2019 Posted 30 September 2019 10. No one wants to see Lineker in his undies. 9. Chaglar will greet Maddison with a friendly nerve pinch and put him on the disabled list. 8. No cheese room. 7. Manager’s name doesn’t end in a vowel or a “z”. 6. Football gods punish us for endless qualité - intensité “jokes”. 5. Vicky long gone and Filbert not getting any. 4. Pundits not only can’t pronounce our players’ names , they can’t tell one from another . 3. Brexit dries up the Red Bull supply. 2. All-time record signing cost less than Mike Ashley’s. 1. Tottenham Hotspur, they’re coming for us. Okay, that’s nine anyway
SheppyFox Posted 30 September 2019 Posted 30 September 2019 We’re capable of it but won’t achieve it in my opinion because of an inferiority complex. Look at Liverpool, beyond Salah, Mane & VVD how many of their players can you say are guaranteed to walk into our 11? The goaly maybe. We’re really close to the top level, closer than even most foxes think.
Poznan34 Posted 30 September 2019 Posted 30 September 2019 Our attack isn't up to scratch relative to top 6 sides. I know we scored five yesterday and we've already played a few big sides but here are the numbers: We're ranked 9th for shots taken per game vs 2nd for shots conceded per game On xG we rank 15th vs 2nd for total xG condeded. Not saying we won't improve but if you're looking for a reason why we won't compete with the big sides then that's it.

Dan Posted 30 September 2019 Posted 30 September 2019 This is very obvious, a Vardy injury. I do think we need to have a serious plan in place about this at some point soon. I'd actually have liked Iheanacho to come on yesterday rather than Gray. Perfect chance for him to get another league goal.
