KingsX Posted 4 October 2019 Posted 4 October 2019 Have to admit I will follow this with some interest. Not with any great wish for success or failure ... I'm just really curious to see what he will do back in his own country and whether he can last.

I still think he has done very good things for us under difficult circumstances and I wish him every success. Great news. Go on Claude!
Foxxed Posted 4 October 2019 Posted 4 October 2019 There's still a lot hate for him but I wish him well, not the exciting football, but for the youth development, the transfers and the painful transition to possession football. I wonder if St Etienne taken him on with an eye on their academy. It's certainly what he seems to enjoy the most.
StanSP Posted 4 October 2019 Posted 4 October 2019 Get this out of the LCFC forum! (good luck to him!)
coolhandfox Posted 4 October 2019 Posted 4 October 2019 Good luck Puel, steered the club though some difficult times!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 4 October 2019 Posted 4 October 2019 Did a decent job; got the young players through and changed the style... wish him luck there.
Blue ROI Posted 4 October 2019 Posted 4 October 2019 Good luck to him. Had a difficult enough job but left us in a decent place. Easily forgotten that we had wins against Man city, Chelsea, arsenal, spurs and drew with a very good Liverpool. Like St Etienne myself so Allez Claude
Guest Posted 4 October 2019 Posted 4 October 2019 Best of luck to him, now close the thread before the dribblers flood in with their "qualiteeee and intensiteeee" guff
Clever Fox Posted 4 October 2019 Posted 4 October 2019 I can't see why anyone here wouldn't wish him well. Look at the job he done for us. Not alone with the squad but with his signings which have been brilliant. I too will watch his results with interest and wish him well. Though I know he will be fine, Watch him unearth another superstar.
Blue ROI Posted 4 October 2019 Posted 4 October 2019 Only a matter of time before Geoff is on here with a glowing reference
Guest Cujek Posted 4 October 2019 Posted 4 October 2019 I don't think the pressure is quite the same at St Etienne as it was here. Im sure he will be fine there.
Guest Eamonn Posted 4 October 2019 Posted 4 October 2019 I wish him well. But the football was tedious.
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 4 October 2019 Posted 4 October 2019 Good luck to him. We benefitted from his time here. He replaced players with those far more superior in terms of technical ability. Brendan I believe will take it to the next level. Man management skills may be questionable.
foxer Posted 4 October 2019 Posted 4 October 2019 Hopefully he's learnt from his time with us. Very decent manager in some respects. Appalling in others! Wish him all the best

But I don't feel any investment in the situtation.
