Have to admit I will follow this with some interest.

Not with any great wish for success or failure ... I'm just really curious to see what he will do back in his own country and whether he can last.

Why don't you care if he succeeds?

I still think he has done very good things for us under difficult circumstances and I wish him every success.

Great news.  Go on Claude!

There's still a lot hate for him but I wish him well, not the exciting football, but for the youth development, the transfers and the painful transition to possession football. I wonder if St Etienne taken him on with an eye on their academy. It's certainly what he seems to enjoy the most.

Good luck to him. Had a difficult enough job but left us in a decent place.

Easily forgotten that we had wins against Man city, Chelsea, arsenal, spurs and drew with a very good Liverpool.

Like St Etienne myself so Allez Claude

I can't see why anyone here wouldn't wish him well. Look at the job he done for us. Not alone with the squad but with his signings which have been brilliant.

I too will watch his results with interest and wish him well. Though I know he will be fine, Watch him unearth another superstar.

I don't think the pressure is quite the same at St Etienne as it was here.

Im sure he will be fine there.

I wish him well. But the football was tedious.

Good luck to him. We benefitted from his time here. He replaced players with those far more superior in terms of technical ability. Brendan I believe will take it to the next level. Man management skills may be questionable.

Hopefully he's learnt from his time with us. Very decent manager in some respects. Appalling in others! Wish him all the best

Only a matter of time before Geoff is on here with a glowing reference

Intensely disliked how he ripped the heart and soul from our place with his bizarre management style - and thoroughly pleased he's no longer anywhere near LCFC - but wouldn't wish he fails elsewhere because that kind of negativity is completely pointless.

I'll be happy (and not at all surprised) if he succeeds.  But I don't feel any investment in the situtation.

It certainly was !l

He had a decent eye for talent but no motivational skills.

I wish him well in France.
