I'd play the same team that beat Newcastle, Maddison's ego needs reining in.

Well we wouldn't want to have our creative player believing in himself would we. Perhaps we should give him some chips and send him to the casino.

Madderz must start.

...got a feeling Maddison will not play at the weekend!!!

Perhaps the same team as Newcastle will throw up another crushing victory. I suspect he wanted to play in the Liverpool game and convinced Rodgers that he was fit enough to play.Had we not attempted to shoehorn him into the team,we may have put out a more balanced side and played to our strengths. We got lucky that day (Newcastle) and found a balance to the team in a way no-one really expected..

I hope we play 4 - 1 - 4 - 1. That's the most attacking formation we have and we need to stamp our authority on a very good Burnley team.

My only concern is where to put Praet. I think he is a terrific player and helps ticks our play over but I think we need N'didi to help our back four cope with Wood and Barnes. Maybe we try the dreaded diamond formation with Perez and Vardy up top?

Schmeichel

Ricardo

Soyuncu

Evan

Chilwell

Ndidi

Tielemans

Maddison

2 from 3 -  Perez/ Albrighton/ Barnes

Vardy

This is probably the most common shout on here reviewing the recommended starts in the various posts…. And, honestly, I can’t see beyond it…  As it’s our formation when we’ve played our best stuff

But what to do about Praet?  He’s clearly great and in form, but we have some challenges

Maddison does not work out wide - don’t do it

Tielemans can’t be dropped, especially as he’s starting to play himself into form

Called a nice problem to have!  But, I would love to try and accommodate him…

Would also love to see a top quality winger come in…. Then we’d be mustard

Surely the last thing we want to be doing is launching  aimless crosses and long throws into their box ??

So if you don't want aimless crosses (Chilly)  or long throws (Fuchs) into their box......just who are you proposing at left back?

Must play Praet if you ask me.

I wouldn’t. I’d start with Wilf, Maddison and Tielemans

Chilly will be more likely to get around the back of their RB and pull the ball back for incoming runners ..... in theory ....

Drop Wilf, play Youri deeper as more of a Pirlo type role.

Chuck Dennis and Madders in front of him.

Barnes and Perez/Sharky

Vards up top

Attack
