Lcfc-1992 Posted 5 October 2019 Posted 5 October 2019 So difficult picking the middle 3, Maddison shouldn’t be on the left. So it’s between Maddison, Tielemans and Praet for 2 of the positions in the middle. I’d go Schmeichel Ricardo Evans Soyuncu Chilwell Ndidi Tielemans Maddison Perez Barnes Vardy
Ric Flair Posted 5 October 2019 Posted 5 October 2019 Praet is proving a dilemma as he has been brilliant these last 2 games but we are so much better in a 4-1-4-1. Hmmmm
shailen Posted 5 October 2019 Posted 5 October 2019 Kasper Ricardo Evans Soyuncu Chilwell Ndidi Praet Maddison Tielemans Vardy Perez Tielemans is definitely better out wide imo and maddison better through the middle. Burnley are going to park the bus so we need to get as many creative players to get on the ball and open them up with width provided by the fullbacks.
Wymsey Posted 5 October 2019 Posted 5 October 2019 Whatever you think of Sean Dyche, he's done a pretty decent job tbh.. But, should have more than enough to defeat his side. 3-0.
The Syrup Posted 5 October 2019 Posted 5 October 2019 Leicester Burnley a top 6 premier league match (as of typing)... what a time to be alive
HybridFox Posted 5 October 2019 Posted 5 October 2019 Whatever the result, Dyche will complain about our finances
LestaAl Posted 5 October 2019 Posted 5 October 2019 Attacking format for the team please... .. we need to win against Burnley to keep up with the top two😎
fazzyfox Posted 5 October 2019 Posted 5 October 2019 A tough prickly fixture, it might take 2 or 3 formations and significant contributions from 14 players over the 90 minutes to get this over the line, a nitty gritty slightly s***ty 2-1 win, Vardy, Perez & Hendrick. Need to keep set piece opportunities to a minimum.
moore_94 Posted 5 October 2019 Posted 5 October 2019 You have to start Maddison in the middle, and Wilf will be the choice DM The only choice comes down to whether you want Praet or Youri in the middle... and so far this season, Praet has been the more impressive of the two, so I would give him the spot in the starting XI Perez with 3 assists in his last 3 games should start on the right, and Barnes could have some fun coming up against a relatively slow Burnley defence Line up I want to see: Kasper Pereira, Evans, Soyuncu, Chilwell Wilf Perez, Praet, Maddison, Barnes Vardy 2-0 Win
FireFox Posted 6 October 2019 Posted 6 October 2019 When Praet and Tielemans both play, Tielemans is pushed toward the left. I'm really not a fan of that. I think he has shown his best on the right, with crosses and linking up with Ricardo. 4-1-4-1 please. Albrighton on the left wing, Maddison and Tielemans in the middle, Ayoze on the right wing.
Nicolo Barella Posted 6 October 2019 Posted 6 October 2019 We cannot play 3 of Maddison, Tielemans, and Praet, until Tielemans learns how to play as an 8 in a 4-3-1-2. So far when we don't play in the 4-3-3 Tielemans has been poor. Perez and Barnes as wingers.
Fox seen in Norwich Posted 6 October 2019 Posted 6 October 2019 Diamond perez for Barnes as change to Liverpool line up Ndidi Tiels Praet Maddison Perez Vardy
Jimothy Posted 6 October 2019 Posted 6 October 2019 Schmeichel Ricardo Soyuncu Evan Chilwell Ndidi Tielemans Maddison Barnes Vardy Perez

That said his replacement Perez was electric when he came on and provided the assist to Maddison. We have too many good players! Pretty confident about this one. Burnley have made a brilliant start but I think our defence + Ndidi can handle their direct style and our forward players are in too good form not to break the opposition down.
Pliskin Posted 6 October 2019 Posted 6 October 2019 Got to do these, can’t be losing at home to Burnley if you want top 6. I think we will bounce back well. Okay the same line up we did V Bournemouth and smash them.

Would rather keep a very settled back four going, no need to knock one of our own players confidence, especially when he’s a key part of the defence. Maybe if Fuchs had an extra couple yards of pace and as solid defensively as a couple years ago then I might agree with you, we do miss his end product on that side. I agree but against dogshite like Burnley, you need his long throws to mix it up a bit in the bus parking area!

Surely the last thing we want to be doing is launching aimless crosses and long throws into their box ??

Well the ball wont get in there by any other means- have you watched Leicester in recent months when they’re up against 11 men in the box? 🤷♂️
