Don't bother biting, folks! just don't really think it was that much of a moment. if it had said hazards goal or vardys volley then fair enough. just my opinion, but the moment that dier slotted that penalty the country genuinely thought we were going to win the world cup. it was an amazing moment. the "moment" we beat everton 3-1 in a dead rubber was bloody good fun but nothing in comparison, sporting wise.

Yeah I liked the "moment" when Wes picked the trophy up but it's nothing compared to when Hazard booted that ball top bins.

Alright, fair enough, honestly thought you were posting that for a reaction, but makes sense now.... apologies.
bovril Posted 17 December 2019 Posted 17 December 2019 Not sure I can resist voting for Gerrard's slip.

ScouseFox Posted 17 December 2019 Posted 17 December 2019 i'd also like to know how deeney day isn't in there. as "moments" go that could even top aguero. guess it's cos nobody supports watford. so they've gone with suarez biting someone instead.
Foxes1 Posted 17 December 2019 Posted 17 December 2019 Liverpool's Carabao Cup team has just been photographed prior to the quarter-final tie v Aston Viila this will most likely be added to the list when Villa lose.

StanSP Posted 17 December 2019 Posted 17 December 2019 As if they've included a Suarez bite as one of the top 10 ffs
Wymsey Posted 17 December 2019 Posted 17 December 2019 Obviously LCFC winning the title, but was very tempted to choose the Gerrard slip (which is still somewhat hilarious especially as it happened at Anfield).
HybridFox Posted 17 December 2019 Posted 17 December 2019 The fanboys will hijack the vote no doubt. There's no question ours was the most iconic though.

trabuch Posted 17 December 2019 Posted 17 December 2019 I'm fairly disappointed that it isn't unanimous country wide. One of the most iconic moments in the history of sport. The lifting of the trophy is the condensation of everything that went into that season. The fact that there is even a discussion on a Leicester City forum is mind boggling. Dier scoring a penalty - I ask you!
sishades Posted 17 December 2019 Posted 17 December 2019 For me it has to be the appointment of Ian Holloway as manager. Wonderful times! A stupid question requires an equally stupid response.

Stadt Posted 18 December 2019 Posted 18 December 2019 Early 2010 Barclays was unreal for drama. Aguerooooo, why as always me?, 8-2, Gerrard’s slip, Suarez/Evra, Suarez/Ivanovic, Terry/Ferdinand, everybody leaving Arsenal, Torres going Chelsea, Rooney putting it in owt. Newcastle finishing 5th!

peach0000 Posted 18 December 2019 Posted 18 December 2019 100% the Liverpool comeback vs Barcelona will somehow end up winning this.

StanSP Posted 19 December 2019 Posted 19 December 2019 We won English football's moment of the decade: Your winner revealed - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50394950
Raj Posted 19 December 2019 Posted 19 December 2019 They should rename the competition as "moment" to me signifies almost an instant situation in time? This has to be the Aguero goal without question. The whole dynamic of the situation in the day will never be repeated I don't think with the two teams involved. Our "moment" is more of a season with so many great achievements throughout. OUR situation will never be repeated either.
