The North Stand never holds 7,000 does it?!

Those tickets flew out though!

It does hold that but Villa will only allow us the 4226 we are entitled too!

Glad you've got them...but why have we only been given/sold 4,226 on sale in a stand that has capacity of 7,100 in total...villa can only have given us permission to sell the lower number initially.

That is what doesn't make sense, not how LCFC have sold them

That’s all Villa will give us as per the rules of the competition. Bit petty but may be on police advice as well

Fair enough from them to be honest, why would they give us more and give us more voices there backing our team? They're stacking the odds in their favour as much as they can so fair enough.

Got mine this morning but seemed a bit of scramble when them lower blocks finally opened.
'seats no longer available' or words to that effect kept coming up.
Thought sales would make it past today to be honest.

Ffs just missed it, didn't think bottom tier would go that quick.

Refreshed and managed to get one, looks like they keep adding single tickets every few minutes.

I don’t think that’s adding them. I think it’s people getting to the checkout then not finalising it.

Long shot, but depending on the result tonight is there a chance Villa decide to cash in and up the allocation? If they are just leaving empty seats in the stand to keep us to the 10% minimum then if we win by a few tonight they might just let us have more. Probably not.

I'm sure they could have gave us the normal away end plus behind the goal (lower tier) making the same number of tickets up.

Why give us a whole stand? It doesnt make sense if you're cutting rows and two blocks off to lower it down to 4.2k

No safety issues either as the turnstiles for the upper tier are in the car park of the North Stand and the turnstiles for the Lower Tier are on the side of the Doug Ellis Stand?

Sold out

Until the box holders send back a load of returns.

How does this work? Do the box holders get allocated away tickets for every every game? Or are they on priority points etc.

Not 100% sure how it currently works but I did hear a season or two back that certain boxes got up to 10 tickets. Can't really see them being on any sort of priority points, maybe the boxes that pay the most $$$ get a bigger allocation.

I've seen lots of people mentione the 10% rule. It's actually the lower of 10% or 2,000. So they could have given us 2,000 only. However, I think both clubs made some sort of agreement at 10%.

Villa have just limited us to a smaller allocation. The same scenario happened between the two Manchester clubs, they both agreed to a reduced away allocation causing 6-7,000 empty seats last night and possibly similar in the second leg.

From a fans perspective, it would be much better to maximise people attending and create a good atmosphere but the home team may be disadvantaged.

My mate tried getting 4 for him and his mates,  would only allow 3, even though he had the right priority points, work that out

when my mate phoned on behalf of me for 4 tickets, the lady asked for D.O.Bs, I’ve never ever been asked that before, so he couldn’t get any.

so I phoned at 9.50, the lady would only allow me 2, because 1 of the references  didn’t have the right points, the other because my daughter was disabled, I said to the lady never had  a problem in the past in getting adult tickets with my daughters season ticket, she couldn’t really answer me, but still refused me, and also she didnt mention d.o.bs.

Its like they make it up as they go along.

Wolves got 5,300 tickets in this cup so it does seem strange that we haven't. Can only think that Villa wanted more for tonights game and we said no so they reciprocated.

Edit: although Liverpool only got 4500. Maybe there were some crowd issues in these earlier rounds so Villa have increased the segregation.

It’s probably just because it’s a semi final and they want as big an advantage as possible at home to help them try to get to the final. They don’t want masses of away fans roaring on the opposition I suppose

That 2000 rule is only for the Football   League.

I'm fairly sure it's a straight 10% for the League Cup.  Unless, of course, the clubs both agree on something else.

I’ve managed to get a ticket but my brother has missed out. If anyone has one to sell for any reason please let me know ASAP!
