UniFox21 Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 Thought fans sounded fairly loud on the tv, great support from all who travelled

whoareyaaa Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 missed the match today with a hangover woke up to Hamza smashing it in to make it 3-0, might watch the full game highlights later. sounded like a solid performance and cementing our place in the top four even further with the other results that have gone our way. Brendan working his magic, what a team we have here.

Paninistickers Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 Ignore the second half. But first half showed another away performance of total, suffocating, sadistic water torture of an opponent. Beautiful.

Corky Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 We play with such authority against the sides outside the usual top six or seven at the moment (barring Norwich), to go away, win 3-0 and barely break sweat is ridiculous. Two brilliant goals to cap a fine performance.
Blue Ed Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 Impossible to score properly today it was that easy. Some of the covering from Fuchs in the first half was great. Nacho and Perez running and pressing was impressive too. Gray when he came on I thought was really busy and was making some great runs but at a time in the game we were controlling it and probably weren't looking for the ball forward as often, I wonder if it's time to start Gray next game against Wigan and rest Perez.
David Hankey Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 The 'Toon' looked doomed!! 52K and they serve up that tripe. Thankfully Leicester City rose above the quagmire and did the business.
Paninistickers Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 Where's Praet btw? Any official news of a injury? Or is he angling for a move away and going to be the next Gokhan Inlet / Andrej kramaric?

dynamark Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 Lets be truthish ? they were poor and unlucky we were decent and did a job with little energy used all good for next week.Fuchs is still a very good footballist
HibiscusMark Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 Comfortable win. Newcastle really bad...how can they be 12th? How uninspiring is Steve Bruce?
willie-bell-in-rothley Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 Just got back, totally outclassed, outplayed, outposesed outscored and outsang them
yorkie1999 Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 Enjoyed that, apart from getting pinged on the a1m.
Guest Kopfkino Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 Weirdest game I've ever been to, they did a 90 minute warm-up and then everyone ****ed off home
brucey Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 They booed Perez for leaving... 0-1 They booed Madders for diving... 0-2 They booed Hamza for tackling... 0-3 The Vardy spirit lives on even in his absence
Carl the Llama Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 Nice to see another positive post match thread. Hard to think just a week ago some people were spitting their dummies out saying the Champions League dream is over Some people never learn.
LestaAl Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 ... and almost a perfect set of results elsewhere to round off the first day of the year. Hope it continues...
Guest Col city fan Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 Such a weird game Like Villa away, just watching the first 10 mins told you all you needed to know...that there was only going to ever be one winner As great as we were today, I’m shocked at the shitness of Newcastle. We’ll never get an easier away fixture than some we’ve had this season, this one included. Finally, again... I’m convinced we look a better side when Pérez is in it.
Chrysalis Posted 1 January 2020 Posted 1 January 2020 First two goals from pressing, glad we resumed some pressing again. My initial thoughts were, we had a lot of possession but doing nothing with it. For much of the game they had more shots than us. But starving the opposition of possession makes them rash in possession and gives your own team confidence, then if you press, you see the result. I would like us to do a bit more forward passes though.
