Didn’t see it close but did the goalie touch the ball

If you win the ball and follow through with stoods up, you’ll get sent off. Just because you win the ball doesn’t always deem it no foul. He’s caused Iheanacho an injury where he can’t continue.

This league, like life is geared to maintain the elite, as in all walks of life or sport. Whether it’s football, UFC, Boxing or whatever you can think of. You think the judges in the first fury vs wilder fight didn’t have to legitimise a rematch for financial gain? You’re naive and probably live a sheltered life lol

You are so right. The refs/var are meant to keep the status quo. The elite will always be given special favours. It's all bent.

It’s the lack of clarity on the Iheanacho decision. ‘Contact is inevitable’ means absolutely nothing.

It can’t be because he got the ball, as when Barnes got the ball against Ederson earlier in the season, that wasn’t given either.

The amount of protection goalkeepers get in comparison to what they get away with absolutely stinks.

That is dangerous play and clearly out of control, if an outfield player did the same it would be a Red no arguements.

Apperantly the ref waved play-on but VAR called it back. It's time VAR officials stopped making the decisions, they should only advise the on field ref to veiw the monitors. The on field ref should make the final decision.

I had no idea until now that this has happened, why did no one seem to appeal for it? Have we got to be doing what Man City did today and completely surround the ref?
As for Kelechi’s Not seen it again only seen it live at the ground but I don’t get how It wasn’t reviewed either, he seemed to win the header then the keeper hit him when the ball seemed long gone by then

I know it’s easy to criticise when you’re basically **** over as we have been today but we have some really poor officials in this country. Yes, we have the best league in the world but the supporting act is not at that standard.

The biggest issue is that refs are regulated by one of their own. That needs to stop ASAP. Then I would bring in successful refs from other countries and maybe even other sports to sort them out.

There is no excuse for the handball errors today and it makes the no pen decision against Villa even more confusing when you see the pen against us today. It’s not on.
