KFS Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Over confident young squad. VAR isn’t helping. (7)

It isn’t about “oh yeah but they’ve got us to third in the league”. They should look at the league table every week and it should be the biggest motivation going for them. A chance to play in Europe. A chance to pit themselves against the very best in the world. Yet they just turn out abject performances week in week out at the minute it’s ****ing sickening.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Lack of creativity. Soft midfield. No width. We will now go unbeaten at home. (14)
norwichfox Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 We gave Brendan effin' Rodgers a rise far too soon
urban.spaceman Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Get Rodgers Out Claude Puel In In Out In Out Shake It All About Swap the Champions League for the Championship That's What It's All About Allllllllll Panic And Go Mental Allllllllll Panic And Go Mental Allllllllll Panic And Go Mental Can't Wait To Sign Andros Townseeeeend. twister Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Attitude has gone downhill, younger players think they have made it.
weller54 Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 The rot has well and truly set in.. been building for a couple of months. Need Men in the team not Boys with big egos!
ithuriel Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 The players believing they've already done enough and the management team not dispelling this view, in my opinion of course.
norwichfox Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 The declining results since Rodgers contract extension, not pretty reading. I feel confident that we'll not get out of this rut to enable a European tour next year, the queue is getting longer and closer behind us. It might all be academic as far as Europe is concerned with worsening world health issues from Norovirus. norwich - A L 0-1 Man City - H L 0-1 Wolves - A D 0-0 Chelsea - H D 2-2 Villa - A L 2-1 (Cup) Brentford - A W 0-1 (Cup) W Ham - H W 4-1 Burnley - A L 2-1 Southampton - H L 1-2 Villa - H D 1-1 Wigan - A W 0-2 (Cup) Newcastle - A W0-3 W Ham - A W 1-2 Liverpool - H L 0-4 Man City - A L 3-1 Everton - A D 2-2 Norwich - H D 1-1 Villa - A W 1-4
Tielemans63 Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 I think it would be very difficult to sum up exactly what has gone wrong in just twenty words. Badger. (20)
fuchsntf Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 We are too dependent on Ndidi,to hold Tielemans & Maddisons back..(6k..)
jmono84 Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Ineffective wingers and lack of production from our CM’s which stems from having poor wide options. (16)
crazies Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 We set the bar too high in the first 18 games now we’re showing why we ain’t top 4 material (20)
fuchsntf Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 2nd opinion.. we have realised there is no Euro competition, next season...( Coronavirus)...

I think I tend to agree, some of them plodding around like it’s a pre season friendly. This tippy tappy football is great to watch at pace, but the slow sideways, over playing is so predictable and easy to defend. These players need to have a look at themselves and get back to what got them rave reviews, and links to bigger clubs, and remember there is a champions league place at stake. Problem for Rodgers, and the starting 11 know they places are pretty much nailed on is we have zero quality in reserve.
irishfoxkev Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Players are humans not characters in some computer game. Loss of form and confidence snowballs and it’s hard to stop.(20)

Kelechi was nearly decapitated against Man City with no penalty and a pretty dubious decision denied him a goal last night. But luck does turn in the end. I didn't want to write about luck but you're right, the last 5 - 6 games (aside from the offside at Wolves) nothing is going for us.
kyleolly Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Rogers gave the players an excuse to lose (tiredness) now it’s expectable!
Foxhateram Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Nothing, just a blip. VAR needs to get in the bin. We'll still finish top 4.
