shade Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 carrying Perez Barnes and maddison in attack, tielemans struggling, chilwell lost it, no confidence, no movement, no risk taking, no composure. (9 words)
MC Prussian Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Rodgers Maddison Chilwell Perez (see Rodgers) Barnes Tielemans Praet Choudhury ... VAR Referees
Beliall Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Just a wobble, nothing to worry about, when chelsea pull within 3 points later, we'll wake up
Ceirboy Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 BR acts like the player’s chaperone and not their manager. He’s not gaffer enough!
Pliskin Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 We’re currently in a bad run of form. The side has limited depth and really there’s only 11 maybe 12 players that are really good enough to start premier league games. Whether people like the phrase or not we’re a young and inexperienced side, and this is showing due us not being able to produce when the pressure is on. Rodgers has little room to move when it comes to changing things up, Fuchs is better than Chilwell but is ageing, Justin hasn’t had ample experience to perform at the top level, however I would like to see him given a run. Gray is shite, Albrighton doesn’t suite Rodgers style of play and the rest are squad fillers. Ultimately we’re most definitely over achieving, and if we can finish in the top four it really will be a remarkable achievement.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Lack of confidence and belief, tactically puzzling, too many key players out of form. Something needs to change very quickly. (20)
Mark_w Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Bit lucky before, bit unlucky now, plus Ndidi absence, Chilwell, Youri, Maddison and Vardy simultaneous poor form.
LinekersLugs Posted 29 February 2020 Author Posted 29 February 2020 Trouble in the camp, personal issues causing significant unrest, watch this space (12)
Bezzanator89 Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Disjointed system, too many players bang out of form. Or maybe we just over achieved pre-December.

A few young heads have been turned by the media as superstars destined for mu,mc, Liverpool etc, probably creating resentment in the dressing room. The slick passing, intense approach has disappeared and are more comfortable playing it sideways at the back giving the other team time to reorganise their defence. The players attitude seems to have changed even when we are losing we still play as though we are winning, no urgency appear to be just going through the motions
5waller5 Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Keeping the ball has become more important than attacking with it. (11)
The Guvnor Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Progression from the back through midfield too pedestrian, off the ball movement is woeful, too often final ball abysmal.

Finnaldo Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Lack of confidence in a young team. Teams as shit as being portrayed in here don’t take Man City to the wire after being neglected two plain as day penalties. Don’t work in an Amazon warehouse so I’m exempt from the word limit.
bovril Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Bad form. I am sure this happens every other season to almost every team. Happened to us in 12/13, 16/17 and 17/18. Get Vardy and NDidi back fit, smash Villa and we can go on a run again...
South Shire Fox Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 Far too slow and predictable on the ball. Wingers that dont provide width/ LB that will never overlap to provide options. No aggression in the team.
oxtonfox Posted 29 February 2020 Posted 29 February 2020 no real leaders on the pitch is a problem. We’re too nice as well - not getting at ref re: decisions like Man C, Arsenal and Liverpool.
