I wonder if clubs will still train? I see the players were in this morning.

I guess they will?  3 weeks is a long time to not train at their levels. They will quickly lose fitness. I guess it will be closed doors and minimal staff? They said this morning no fan meetings, training ground visits etc. So it will be closed doors training i should imagine.

Yes, it is, assuming your views have more value/credence than those of the government.

Governments should be held accountable at all times they are in power, no? If someone isn't happy with how they've handled the situation/crisis/chaos whatever then we, as the public who democratically voted them in, have a right to say how we feel, no?

Of course, its democracy. But lambasting them based on politiical affiliation at a time like this is not warranted. That was my only point.

Edit - if I read the posts intentions wrong, thats on me, and I apologise

But people aren't. They are lambasting them based on their response and the fact they aren't happy with it. If anything you are trying to deflect from their poor response because of political affiliation.

What do you suggest public execution?

The government are shit.

I bet if there's a drop in cases and therefore deaths hopefully, the FA/PL/EFL will reconvene and perhaps phase it back in. Maybe games behind closed doors to start off with to stop the backlog getting bigger and then have games with fans in.

The government/medical advisors are shit? Have a word with yourself. They have been consistent in their advice throughout and in their long term advice and plans.

The FA/PL/EFL have been issuing statements almost like confetti and have now seemingly had pressure put on them by a number of clubs to protect their own interests (money).

Having said that, a suspension seems necessary although I think it will last a lot longer than a few weeks.

This was coming but should of been done last week.  All sporting events where mass people congregate should be postponed.

I still can't believe Cheltenham went ahead, lets hope all the horsey toffs get it !!!

More horsey Wclass, in the Racing Ranks as toffs..!!!

Good but it’s pretty fvcking stupid that they only reacted in this way because Arteta & Hudson-Odoi got it.

This is why they should just ban sporting events/mass gatherings, because things like Football leagues will just be suspended anyway.
