And the best training facility anywhere in europe having the finishing touches put to it, a fantastic owner and management structure that are the envy of the footballing world, a bright talented ambitious young squad and european football. Not saying that BR would not be an influencing factor but we do have a lot more going for us than just the fact that he was his old boss in a previous job.

On the plus side we can just ignore FFP now too....

If we were to completely disregard financial fair play and blow the budget on 2 or 3 really top players I could see us challenging right at the top next season. Now would be the time to do it with FFP being essentially irrelevant.

How can anyone outside the top 4 seriously compete. We cant handle 1 of those players and these top 4 teams can have a few of them. 3
