Webbo Posted 2 May 2020 Posted 2 May 2020 I'll save Geoff from having to post this himself. Just listen to Arlo White's commentary, a tad more enthusiastic than normal

Arlo's commentary was on NBC in the USA so doesn't often get played over here. We can all imagine what was going through his mind as he described it. A Leicester lad gets to say that! Superb!

While that is true, had Spurs won at Chelsea there would've been no Andrea Bocelli at the KP & potentially the trophy ceremony might not have been there either. So it worked out perfectly 👍

So it worked out perfectly 👍 As I said on another thread, I'd prefered to have won it at Old Trafford. Would've been lovely given they dominated the PL era and we've all grown up with annoying Man Utd fans. It still is one of my favourite away days, even Man Utd fans seemed pleased for us having chats in pub pre game, but if I'd change anything it'd be to win it there and not during a game that didn't involve us.

Pliskin Posted 2 May 2020 Posted 2 May 2020 What a ****ing night. I got beyond pissed in the local hero, volleyed the neighbours pansies and sunflowers before passing out on the sofa. Thank god they’re all technologically inept other wise VAR would have had my pants down.

If I could change one thing about the title win, it would be for Okazaki to have connected with that cross at Old Trafford and we won the title there. It was pretty close if I remember rightly?
urban.spaceman Posted 2 May 2020 Posted 2 May 2020 2-0 up away from home before half time, keeping their title dreams alive. and Dirtiest team in Premier League history.
stripeyfox Posted 2 May 2020 Posted 2 May 2020 the shithousery of Willian playing that free kick into the corner at the end....
Tuna Posted 2 May 2020 Posted 2 May 2020 Still feels surreal even now. What a team, what an achievement.

Spudulike Posted 2 May 2020 Posted 2 May 2020 This will become more and more legendary as the years go by. We've never been the same since. What other fans stand and applaud a pre-match video?
tom27111 Posted 2 May 2020 Posted 2 May 2020 I remember it vividly. Exactly where I was and what I was doing. I refused to watch it, checked the score at half time, still didn't watch...Cahill got one back, that was it, I started watching. As soon as that shot left Hazard's boot, I knew it was in. The look on Harry Kane's face was priceless as he knew it was over. Spent the next 10 minutes in hysterics as Spurs completely lost their head. Then, the final whistle. I wanted to cry, I thought I'd cry, but I couldn't. Just sat there feeling on top of the world in a weird, numb, glorious trance. What a team.
The Syrup Posted 2 May 2020 Posted 2 May 2020 I live near Vardy's old house in Melton. Always brings a smile to my face when I walk past even though he doesn't live there anymore. There was several 100 outside that house that night, as well as the team partying inside,
goody2028 Posted 2 May 2020 Posted 2 May 2020 I remember the Southampton home game and coming out passing the away fans to hear them chanting ‘they’re going to win the league’ was amazing. Southampton wanted it nearly as much as us and I think every football fan felt the same, bar spurs. What a time to be a Leicester fan eh?
FoyleFox Posted 2 May 2020 Posted 2 May 2020 I was just reflecting on something similar, a very unusual scenario, at the latter end of the season, everyone, except Spurs fans wanted us to win. Usually there'd be a divide between supporters, last season for example a resonable split between preferring Liverpool or Man City etc. In 2016 everyone was rooting for us, another quite remarkable element to a remarkable season.
