We we have a small squad and letting both chillwell and gray go and only bringing in 3 players wouldn’t make sense
Silebyfox_89 Posted 5 October 2020 Posted 5 October 2020 Probably an unpopular opinion but i wouldn't mind bringing Troy Deeney in on loan, offers a little bit of physicality, average finisher, good team player and won't need 90 mins a week. Gives us depth and the wages would be manageable 1

I'm pretty sure he was released from a club in Qatar in the summer after spending around 6 months there. Would be a bit of an odd move to then sign for another Qatari club.

Daka played in one game and just looked immense but clearly someone who needed a year or so to develop. He is doing that and will be a superstar. There will be the obvious Leipzig arrangement at some point but not always does that happen if a club offers a tempting price. Pay them £35m and they'd accept IMO. 1
