Jimothy Posted 6 June 2020 Posted 6 June 2020 I don't mind the fake fan noise so much when you can't see the stands, you can almost forget the stands are empty, but seems a bit ridiculous when they go to a wide shot and you can see empty stands but still hear a buoyant crowd chanting.

I will say this though I think it's easier to do it for German crowds than it is English - German atmosphere is a lot more consistent whereas English is very up and down by nature.

The crowd soundtrack is from FIFA 20 - hence the chants are aligned with the clubs involved.

I always thought I’d hate it when it was suggested but I actually like it and it is what it is. Makes it all seem slightly less weird.
