But the whole point of advertising is to get people talking about it, which you're doing (not saying you'll be going to Thailand because of it), it's not necessarily about immediately getting people to want to use that provider or service. Think of the go compare man, everyone hates that guy but the point is, it's a memorable advert so people will subconsciously think about it when they need to use a similar service.

Give the Thai tourism authority some advertising > Drum up interest in going to Thailand > people go to Thailand > People land in the airports > People use the KP Duty Free shops > KP earn money > Owners curry more favour with the right people.

It seems so weird. I would buy a Thailand smiles with you one but I won't buy a king power one. I have too many king power blue shirts it's just a waste of money.

I’m not really sure that Thai people are the ones King Power are trying to get to fly to and spend money in Thailand after the global tourism industry cratered this year.

I think this may have been a last minute decision brought about by COVID-19 effects on Thai tourism,  and originally we were going to have the usual King Power sponsor on the player shirts. That would be why the “fan shirts” will have King Power as these have already been mass produced, and why there will only be a limited number of these shirts to buy.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - our media team is so shit. Look at Arsenal, Man City, even Villa. These teams look professional and contemporary - our kit launches and media presence look the same as they did at the end of the Burrda run.

I haven’t seen any criticism of the gold?!? The gold trim on this is totally inoffensive to other versions

I live in Thailand and we have not had many covid deaths only 58 but our tourism industry has been hit super hard.

 

Many have lost jobs and bussinesses, it's only gonna get worse here also. 

 

Suicide rate keeps increasing.

 

Not sure how much the new sponsor will make people want to travel to Thailand but every little helps I guess.

People absolutely love to shout down people that don't like it. It's just a feeding frenzy who can get there first to pick up a few rep points on foxestalk.co.uk. Some people don't like it and voice their opinions, get over yourself.
