You'll be lucky to get a chelsea shirt at £70, the stadium shirt is around £80.  If you want the true replica, it is around £110.

Well, you've just made my point even clearer.

Yet, some will still moan.

The Thailand logo isn't bad tbf, they could have had it in a different colour/included a Thai flag, as it is it's fairly neat and inoffensive. Slightly odd to be selling a different kit to the fans than the one they will wear for the majority of games, though.

Be surprised if Kasper wears that. Few seasons back in Championship winning season he refused to wear the keeper top he was supposed to

Yeah he ended up wearing the grey away kit instead didn't he. Youd think theyd ask the players for input first on what they prefer wouldn't you especially goalkeepers

At least it's not some shity 3rd rate betting company like half the Premier League/football league. I'd rather have this, a charity or a local company than a betting company and a load of chinese characters.

100% this. We should consider ourselves lucky!

Agreed. I have no idea how it's allowed, the majority of them aren't even available in the UK.

Hopefully one day the FA will be banned from affiliating with the gambling industry.

I don't really see the point in the new sponsor either. I mean, who is seriously going to travel to Thailand just because they've seen a cheesy slogan on a Leicester shirt?

I didn't buy anything made by Sharp because it was on a Man U shirt, nor did I drink Carlsberg because it was on a Liverpool shirt. I certainly don't use any of the betting companies on pretty much any shirt these days and I've never shopped at King Power duty free...

Sponsorships are not really advertisements they're about partnerships and awareness

Can't help but think this is a easy way to pump a little extra money in.

I don’t think Top has done it out of the goodness of his heart, maybe a huge cash injection from the king of Thailand could be an incentive?

I'd prefer the 'Whole world smiles with you' but its part way there.

Taking something traditional and authentic and trying to commercialise it to appeal to a South East Asian demographic a million miles away from LE2?

Not for me.

’Thailand smiles with you’ - it’s awful, it’s cheesy, it’s tacky. I hate it.

Have I read it right in that in order to get your hands on one of the 'Thailand with you' shirts you can only do this after buying another shirt this time with the standard King Power logo on it?

Nope, you will have the option of which shirt you want to buy, while they have it in stock.

That's how I read it too, but Miguel the Work Geordie doesn't think so.

"The fans’ home shirt, which will go on sale from Monday 27 July, will continue to carry the familiar King Power logo. However, early purchasers will also be eligible to buy a limited edition Thailand Smiles With You home shirt, for delivery this autumn, while stocks last."

To me it's the "early purchasers will also be eligible to buy", that says to me you have to buy both... who knows
