goody2028 Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 Fulham should be 1 up and have had a penalty so announce a 2-0 Liverpool win.
RowlattsFox Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 More of a penalty than plenty that have been given. Hard not to say that it would be given at the other end.
peach0000 Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 I'm not sure Fabinho got the ball at all. The more I look at it I reckon he kicks the foot of the Fulham player into the ball. Regardless he makes contact with the attacker first so surely that's a penalty

Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 If I ever decide I want an easier life, I’m going to apply to be a premier league ref. They’re so mediocre. There is a massive tv screen yet they still **** it up. That’s a penalty.
Arkie Bennett Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 They took 3 minutes to look for a reason not to give the penalty, even offsides that were physically impossible. If it was at the other end they'd have given it in an instant. 1
baldeagle Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 This season really is pretty open . Liverpool look nothing like the team from last season although still clearly very good .

It's hilarious how the bigger teams controversial moments are brushed over. If it's the other way round I guarantee they shine a massive light on it What I would say is that the VAR looked at It about 20 times at different speeds and clearly came to the decision that it was a penalty. The referee looks at it twice and decides it isn't. It's one of those incidents where it's deceiving to the eye what has happened and the VAR should have been firmer 1
ARTY_FOX Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 In disbelief the commentators try and make out its not a penalty but the ref to not give it is incredible lmao. Stunned. 1
onekeithweller Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 I suppose he should be thankful he didn't get a card for a dive
Stuntman_Mike Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 That's genuinely a disgrace. That's on par with the one Fernandes won at Villa last season.
Vacamion Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 Just now, Vacamion said: They'll var this off for that shove.... Phew
Tuna Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 "The VAR have had a look at it Jamie" he says apologetically.
The whole world smiles Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 I don't have a problem with no penalty there. You can make a case for a penalty you can make a case for no penalty and the ref looked at it in real time then has seen a replay and made his choice. What I do have a problem with is Jamie Carragher commentating on it, "I'm delighted". This isn't Liverpool fan tv and sky is supposed to be an impartial platform. Not to mention Liverpool legend Graham souness will be giving his opinion on it at half time! Fulham fans pay there sky subscriptions the same as fans of any other club and Carragher doing coms is blatant disrespect to them and to the rest of the league. 4
