This is the issue. When people say "our players don't do it at International level" but they're being managed by the likes of Pep/Klopp every day and then being managed by Southgate. Must be such a come down.

His 9 goals and 8 assists in 58 appearances as an attacking midfielder for Chelsea is awful really.

Exactly, the go from world class managers to a manager who is at best championship standard. I feel like England have a good generation coming through but they need someone qualified to take them to where they could get.
