Exactly, the go from world class managers to a manager who is at best championship standard. I feel like England have a good generation coming through but they need someone qualified to take them to where they could get.

Agreed I mean normally you would think in terms of coaching the national team you would you go for the best coach in the country and is Southgate the best coach in the country?

Without liverpool of the last two seasons, Man City would have made the prem like Ligue un from the past few seasons ......

they are miles better than everyone else -  can we expect anything to change next season when they’ve bought a striker who can stay fit ?

Good time to play Liverpool, bring it on!! I bet Brendan's mouth is watering.

They will be back next week to give us our biannual spanking when we fail to turn up yet again. Since we eons the league we've been shite against them.

The amount of money they have spent under Pep is utterly disgusting yet they keep getting away with clear breaches of FFP. It seems FFP doesnt apply to the  "elite".

Yet he's still to win the champions league with Man City? It's okay to constantly win the premier league but how much more money will it take him to win the european cup.

It was blatantly obvious in the summer after the Uefa hearing.

I remember that night the news broke where Man City were going to have a two year ban on the champions league. Would have been interested to know if the decision wasn't reversed by Uefa would have Pep have stuck around.

"Allison Blunderland" is reaching a tad, there, Sky.

I like it, for me, it's up there with when John Carew scored a match winning brace and they led with "So Solid Carew" lol

At this moment it does look good. However, we are a small bad run of results away from dropping to 9th. We just need to keep churning out results. Must take something from Liverpool who are devoid of confidence but when was the last time we beat them? Title winning season?
