now being reported as going to Qatar by sky.

Hmmmm. I appreciate he was never going to be a starter, but a safe and cheap back up player to have in the squad. Means we need another CM now...

Surprised at that.

Don't rate Choudhury as a DM very much, so if we are back to 4-3-3 it either opens up an opportunity to sign a holding midfielder, or the club could put their faith in Knight or Dewsbury-Hall.

Interesting one.

Wasn’t it the mercury that said he was close to signing a new deal with us? lol

They know **** all. They now resort to stealing Rob Tanner’s articles in the Athletic and rehash them.

Is it just me who thinks choudhury is a class lone DM considering how few first team minutes he's played in that role? Think he's definitely good enough to be backup.

It’s sad really as they were always the first to know when I was growing up

He's got the physical attributes for the role for sure but lacks tactically in the role.

In a plane, you mean, or fired by catapult?

A ferry via the Suez Canal might have been safer.

Not surprised really, hes not getting much first team football here if he stays and at his age in sure he wants to pay.

Always seemed to give his all though and obviously a top bloke so wish him all the best. Shame it never really worked out for him here as I don't think we ever really saw him at his best.

Suspect that Diallo will replace him. On the radar in January.

This would make sense, better to get a younger guy in that may be able to replace ndidi eventually.

Harsh, and in fact just plain wrong that Mendy's contributed **** all.

Why so disrespectful? He has done a great job when called upon and was very unlucky with injury when he was getting game time.

Unlucky yes. Not sure he had ever done a great job, average at best

Thats a decent chunk of wage, if we can contribute that to buying someone like Diallo, then it could be a brilliant choice.
