Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 11 August 2020 Posted 11 August 2020 now being reported as going to Qatar by sky.
sdb Posted 11 August 2020 Posted 11 August 2020 (edited) Hmmmm. I appreciate he was never going to be a starter, but a safe and cheap back up player to have in the squad. Means we need another CM now... Edited 11 August 2020 by sdb
jeffschlupp Posted 11 August 2020 Posted 11 August 2020 Surprised at that. Don't rate Choudhury as a DM very much, so if we are back to 4-3-3 it either opens up an opportunity to sign a holding midfielder, or the club could put their faith in Knight or Dewsbury-Hall. Interesting one. 4
chapero82 Posted 11 August 2020 Posted 11 August 2020 Wasn’t it the mercury that said he was close to signing a new deal with us?
CloudFox Posted 11 August 2020 Posted 11 August 2020 Big shame if he goes. Hope we're in for another DM...

honeybradger Posted 11 August 2020 Posted 11 August 2020 (edited) Is it just me who thinks choudhury is a class lone DM considering how few first team minutes he's played in that role? Think he's definitely good enough to be backup. Edited 11 August 2020 by honeybradger 2 1

jeffschlupp Posted 11 August 2020 Posted 11 August 2020 Mendy and Cazorla is surely the shortest midfield going! Xavi obviously has seen his class unlike half of FoxesTalk
MGLCFC Posted 11 August 2020 Posted 11 August 2020 Suspect that Diallo will replace him. On the radar in January. 2

RobHawk Posted 11 August 2020 Posted 11 August 2020 Not surprised really, hes not getting much first team football here if he stays and at his age in sure he wants to pay. Always seemed to give his all though and obviously a top bloke so wish him all the best. Shame it never really worked out for him here as I don't think we ever really saw him at his best.

Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 11 August 2020 Posted 11 August 2020 2.6m off the wage bill. Between him, kingy and kapustka thats 6.2m gone from players whove contributed **** all in the last two years.

Thats a decent chunk of wage, if we can contribute that to buying someone like Diallo, then it could be a brilliant choice.
