If two of the three test positive then surely our game will be called off?

 

Still playing this Nations League was absolutely stupid and it just shows the levels of stupidity that we have at the top of sport, or more likely that they only give a shit about the yankee dollar £££.

 

We could potentially have 7 or 8 of our first 11 out of actionlol

I wouldn’t be so sure.

Personally I always thought professional athletes were exempt from such rules during the season because the regularity they are tested.

Maybe, we will see. It definitely has potential to cause mass disruption either way.

 

I guess it makes sense with squads not isolating when 1 person tests positive.

Yes because they’re an elite sportsperson.  As long as they test negative they’re fine.

Not wishing the disease upon anybody, but any postponement of the WBA game would be most welcomed by me.

 

I wonder, just how much money was made by playing this ridonkulously scheduled game?

I gave up watching England FC years ago, but I do agree with your comments regarding the decision taken by the bods responsible. 

 

I understand and respect the England fans interest and it would have gained a following, but really? like, big viewing numbers? big interest? 

I'm unsure.

If Maddison comes out of the U23 game okay, I think he may play on Sunday but if not it'll be Praet in Madders place or Albrighton/Gray on the right and Youri more central.

This seems the most likely to me as well. Hopefully Maddison is fit enough for a cameo off the bench maybe.

Has anyone expressed any excitement for sunday yet?

I'm excited about the game.  I am hoperehensive about it.  I am often hoperehensive about Leicester games because I get mixed up.  I hope we somehow play as a cohesive unit and we see some of the strengths of the team.  I am apprehensive because of us being short of a player or two I  the squad but more relevant badly affected by injury and suspension.

 

I am concerned about the centre back next to Soyuncu; if Knight plays I will be urging him to have a solid, assured 90.  IF N'didi is c.b., I will be be nervous about our midfield.

 

If we are going to have a good season, I believe Barnes needs to kick on.  A confident goal scoring game from him could set up the season nicely.

 

We should start with at least 6 from  our best 11 pre Christmas.  I hope it's enough.

 

I'm off to email the Oxford English Dictionary about my new word.

Hoperehensive, excellent. 

It's such a Rodgers type word as well, if he uses it in his pre-match interview, give yourself a pat on the back. 

 

I know what you mean, it's all up in the air. 

Ndidi's starting position will be a big indicator to our situation.
