Does anyone genuinely know the full context here? Anyone prepared to state categorically he wasn’t there with a member of his partner’s family or with her blessing? That he drank anything he shouldn’t? Tabloids sell a version of the event that sells. It often, (usually?), has little to do with the actual context. Who knows? 🤷

I wonder why they have selected him of all people? Leicester is hardly the most glamorous club and Maddison isn't a full fledged international. I'm not really sure what they have to gain from turning public opinion against him. I find it all a bit strange.

I'd wager there's at least something to do with Grealish seemingly being the nation's favourite at the moment and Maddison being his competition makes it easy to paint him as the villain to drum up a narrative and shift papers.

Because he won't have the chance of another break until next summer?

You're normally expected to be there at the birth of your child and to be around to help look after your child. You don't have to be with your pregnant partner at all times.

The casino one really annoyed me because it was the England medical team that chose to send him home with a bit of the flu, where he then went to our training ground and got some meds from our doctor, and after feeling better felt like he wanted to watch the match somewhere else other than at home alone

People aren't really getting upset about this are they? It's got to be fake outrage. Man hugs woman shock horror!!! Maybe they'd rather they got dressed in formal clothing to cover themselves up before they hug. Or is purely because she has large breasts they can't see anything non-sexual in it. Is it just me or do others find this kind of stuff really tiring. It's 2021, with a pandemic, a climate crisis already burning the world down, an inept government in charge and people want to get upset about this , jeez.
