they’ve  been watching him all day and all they could come up with was a few photos. The ladies are all over him but he’s behaved very well if this is all they can find.

Believe his point will be that they both had huge talent, but never fulfilled it, so people only remember for being a flops

David Bentley is a really good parallel. Had a couple of really good seasons but never quite made it to the top.

How have people got enough time in the day or enough effort to be that worried about Maddison hugging a woman on holiday. Really weird

People make jokes and laugh but we’ve got a player, on our books for 6 figures a week that we could have cashed in on for big £££ 2 summers ago. The issue is we would struggle to shift him for anywhere near that figure now because he’s a grade A **** with a chronic hip problem. Laugh away lads.

You’ve just copy pasted that from my wife’s ‘Husband Annual Review’ form and substituted my initials for his. You could’ve at least credited her for the pithy comment. Poor show. Very poor show.

He’s been woeful since March 2020, aside a purple patch around Christmas time. He won’t even make first choice 11 next season at this rate with the improvements we’ve made to the squad.

Wait... you mean you can be good friends with women other than your girlfriend/wife etc., hug them, be comfortable and casual around them?
