Police at his house? For the court case or the party?

This court case, you're aware that he wasn't charged, it was his mate and he was cleared.

Which employee policy has he breached?

Perhaps you should write your comments in green ink, you're coming over as a 70 year old Daily Mail reading spinster of this parish.

You've heard enough from people on here who know enough about the club to know he was in very hot water post the party with perez. One poster who I trust implicitly alluded to further issues as well but clearly can't reveal what they are publicly (not the spitting in the face one).

I personally couldn't give a toss about him going on holiday. I'd only argue its a dumb move and smacks of a guy who hasn't learnt his lesson. Anyone that believes he's out there 'working hard' is sadly deluded. Whichever way you spin it's not clever and doesn't strike me as a guy who's knuckled down and learnt his lesson like he said he would. Time will tell, if he roars back into life next season then fair play to him - I'm yet to see it though.

As for your comments about breaching club protocols I presume the West ham game is erased from your memory and the events surrounding it.

Some good, clever quotes from the manager below on his considered thoughts on what maddison needs to focus on.....you need more than talent according to him.....

Sorry a dickhead.why would you want to be away from your partner,  when expecting his child,  lost for words really,

She is around 4-6 away from giving birth. He is about 2 hours away by private jet (which he does use to travel) calm down I'm sure he knows what he is doing. 1 weekend away with his mates and he gets assassinated by his OWN fans?

Words fail me some times.

You went into a rant and confused the place of the party, it was at Perez's house.

You mentioned a court case but it wasn't Maddison who was charged and his mate was cleared.

Southgate has said that he wasn't bothered by him going to the Casino and the whole incident had nothing to do with the club.

Why would you even mention 'the spitting in the face'?

I'm not claiming he's the consumate professional but there's afew of you taking a moral highground that would embarras Mary Whitehouse.

Says it all really that’s he’s on a lads holiday entertaining other women just before going back to pre-season training whilst his Mrs is heavily pregnant. People can say what they want but the truth of the matter is his morals are in the ****ing bin.

You’re yet to see what will happen next season, are you? Colour me stunned.

They may be but why are fans of the club in meltdown over it?

If we sacked every player who had dodgy morals we'd have had a problem finding eleven first team players over the years.

Oooh that Frank Worthington.

Wow. He’s just a massive bellend, isn’t he?!

There’s only one reaction to those photos that matters and that’s the one of his heavily-pregnant girlfriend left at home whilst he goes out partying with other women, not the “he’s only a young lad having fun” apologists on here.

Says a lot about his maturity that he wants to leave her at home alone whilst he goes partying with his mates in Ibiza and even more about his integrity that he can’t help himself flirting with other women whilst he thinks she’s not able to see.

You’d have hoped this baby would be a bit of a wake up call and that he’d get his priorities sorted to fulfil his potential but looks like we’re relying on it actually arriving now to do that. Meanwhile the gap between him and those he’s competing with for an England spot continues to grow and grow…

People are so quick and desperate to cast aspersions. He’s hugged a lass ffs, obviously the papers couldn’t find him actually doing anything wrong and it could be his best friend from school for all anyone here knows.

In short, 24 year old enjoys himself on holiday in presence of friends. So much news

Many men grow up when the baby arrives, not when the partner gets pregnant.

Can’t work out if you’re joking here! At first assumed you were, what with your saying the only reaction that matters is his girlfriend’s and then offering two paragraphs of comedy moralising. Then it occurred to me you might not be.

Perhaps I'm a bit old fashioned, but I enjoyed being there, supporting my wife and being part of the whole process, rather than enjoying myself in another country whilst she was in discomfort and not feeling too great about her self image.

However, like others have suggested, she may well have sent him away to Ibiza with her blessing.
