The club is a mess forwards who can’t shoot straight and defenders who can’t defend

Got ripped apart to the point that Monga should’ve seen he was having an absolute mare and helped him way more than he did. It was obvious he was getting hooked at half time. Only problem is VK is barely an improvement but at least he does try and go forward.

Thought he had a poor game  albeit against the quickest kid on the pitch and with little help from Monga, which is fine wingers should attack and defenders should defend in the main. But then I saw Victor! OMG !!

Such a boring player, milquetoast is too complimentary.  He’s not even that great at the basics.  I can’t stand watching him call for the ball, knowing he will pass it back instantly.  He always sets his body to pass back not drive forwards.  Monga had to try and do everything from the halfway line. No overlap when he had time and space in front.

Because of how Marti set up the full backs and his lack of attacking nouse.  We now have wingers who have become greedy because they expected to do everything. It’s a constant step over challenge. 

 

Thomas needs to spend the whole week learning how to kick the ball down the wing with both feet. Maybe he can even learn how to sink it over a defenders head into space. 

The amount of times we got opened up against Coventry and Wrexham from simple, footballing basics 1-2, you would think Marti would try and explore that option.

4 years for Thomas is a damning indictment of our direction of travel. He wouldn't get a 4 year deal at QPR.

I feel bad criticising him as he’s one of our own, but he’s just not at the level and that isn’t meant as an insult he’s simply not a championship player.

 

He’s lack of physicality gets exposed most weeks now. Don’t even get me started on he’s completely non existent right foot.

I’m not a Thomas out guy. He has his plus points. Manager just has to recognize when he’s up against a winger that has his number he’s gotta sub him out or change something so he’s not so exposed. That’s what elite coaches do after all right?

The lack of overlapping recently .. I think that comes from Marti.  I think with Ricky/ Hamza pulled intro he middle he doesn’t  want both FBs out of position. He’s a limited player without much pace  but I think at least Marti can see that so he limits what is expected from him.

Truly awful player, who we are now stuck with for another 4 years, unless we can find a club stupid enough to buy him ala Mcateer. He's so poor I very much doubt that will happen.

The chance to get rid of him at the end of the season was there but some idiot decided he was worth a new contract. 

Our club gets more ridiculous by the day & it really is so sad to see our continued decline
