peach0000 Posted 16 December 2020 Posted 16 December 2020 Spurs and Liverpool draw and we are still only a win off the top. Of course we are still in it. The issue is there are at least 7 other teams who are fancying their chances. We are so inconsistent but if we can sort that out, or if any team at the top can, then they will win the league. Just a matter of waiting and seeing who that team will be, I wouldn't put it past being Leicester!

Popular Post Foxxed Posted 5 January 2021 Popular Post Posted 5 January 2021 Bugger off already with this thread. A loss or two and we're about 8th with people calling for Bren's head. Concentrate on the next match. 4 1

I can always find reasons Why we wont...but I will give some that allows us to dream well Why not.!!! # 99% of Our players wont have a Full Extended season behind them as expected..Though .Tielemans/Justin/Schmeichel have # Injuries have prevented us playing at Anytime our Full contingent of those Quality players # Festive period reached and over, best players just Now returning # Those problems have been Held low key by Rodgers.. # We are happily Low on everybodies radar # Our fringe players have produced Top individual & team performances... # Our own expected And unexpected inconsistencies have been Shadowed by big teams dropping unexpected points with very avg performances.. # Young players, Justin,Barnes,Fofana, Thomas, Holding their own a giving us MOM moments # Goals Not just Coming from Vardy # Players Keeping grounded, Not Full of false grandeure. # Rodgers has been Thrown some Curve balls and Faced up. AyewJoking Posted 5 January 2021 Posted 5 January 2021 Im prioritising top 4 but however much certain pundits may hate it, we are firmly in the race, the table dont lie!

Aus Fox Posted 5 January 2021 Posted 5 January 2021 The good news is, almost half way through The season and we are a point off the top of the league so firmly in the title race. The bad news is so is almost every other team in the top 10. This season really is anyones, if we put together a run of results like we did from October - December last year, we are capable of doing it, we have a great chance of winning the league - again though so does everyone else. At some point the league will have to start separating and gaps will appear. We have 7 league games before our next Europa League match, those 7 will decide what our chances are: Southampton (a) Chelsea (h) Everton (a) Leeds (h) Fulham (a) Wolves (a) Liverpool (h) I think to be in a title race we need 16 points from these games. That will be incredible if we did that, not impossible but really tough. Lets enjoy the ride and see what happens. 1
Lambert09 Posted 5 January 2021 Posted 5 January 2021 If a non traditional club wins the league you can guarantee the European super league will happen
Nicolo Barella Posted 5 January 2021 Posted 5 January 2021 If Spurs, Southampton, Man City, and Aston Villa win their games in hand they all jump ahead of us. I would be very happy if we got EL again in a season this competitive, lets forget about the title until we're 5 points ahead with 3 gameweeks to go yes? 3

One of the games in hand Villa and Man City have is against each other - they both can’t win.

We have P - 5 W - 2 (Spurs away and N'castle away) D - 2 (Manu Home - Palace Home) L -1 (Everton home) As i suggested at the beginning, i am not saying we WILL win it... but dare we think about it. We are a bigger club now than at any time in my life. Daring to dream is a right for football fans, and as one of the very few that have lived the dream.... enjoy it.

Guest kristianity77 Posted 5 January 2021 Posted 5 January 2021 I don't dare to dream of winning it, I dream about how much better the table could have looked if we had put a decent side out against Palace and not dropped at least some of the points we did at home to Fulham, Villa, West Ham and Everton....
kyleolly Posted 5 January 2021 Posted 5 January 2021 I think we lack ruthlessness and that stems from the manager there seems a lack of urgency.

majaco Posted 5 January 2021 Posted 5 January 2021 With the amount of games, we have lost, we have shown ourselves to be incapable of a title challenge. However, we are near the top and seem to have found some resilience in the last few games. We are nearing a fully fit squad with elite players. I feel we will have a brilliant run of games soon. At some point, I feel we will probably have a run of three or four games of terrible results. I am not one to sit on the fence: we will finish between 1st and 12th. 3

No but what is wrote on forums DOES have an affect on how we react to results. If we let threads like this get us all hyped up, the backlash is so much worse after our inevitable loss to teams like Sheffield Utd.

Yet here we are just a point behind Liverpool after 17 games, are they incapable of mounting a title challenge? Which teams in your eyes are capable of mounting a title challenge? 1
