I'm not saying that you shouldn't fantasise about Kasper holding the trophy aloft whilst you have a wee tug, that's your business. What I'm saying is when we are having a serious conversation about our realistic chances this year, we should be level headed and realistic and that building expectations to unlikely heights only puts unnecessary pressure on is when realistically we are doing fine and a top 6 finish would be an excellent result.

I think us getting excited can only lead to our own ecstasy or disappointment. I'm not sure it affects the players all that much. We're not even in the stadiums at the moment. However, if it was Colin from Coalville ....... then that might be a different matter ........

And anyone's guess who'll get fourth; probably chelsea but could as easily be us, spurs or Everton. The aim is to avoid seventh and the with it the bum europa spot (assuming the cup is won by a top 6 side) . And we'll have done really really well if we do that
