Nice to see the premier league super computer having lcfc as finishing 2nd this season behind liverpool with scum utd 3rd behind us 🤗🤞

It's over for liverpool now.  They have lost belief.

Though unlikely, we are amongst it, so have a chance.

Signing a decent back striker and keeping Vardy fit and using him sparingly, will probably determine how close we can get.

The last 3 games, though very tough, could be mad😄

No but what is wrote on forums DOES have an affect on how we react to results. If we let threads like this get us all hyped up, the backlash is so much worse after our inevitable loss to teams like Sheffield Utd.

So we shouldn't dream because others can't deal with their own emotions.

Without dreams we would all still be sitting in caves, hunting animals with spears.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't fantasise about Kasper holding the trophy aloft whilst you have a wee tug, that's your business.

What I'm saying is when we are having a serious conversation about our realistic chances this year, we should be level headed and realistic and that building expectations to unlikely heights only puts unnecessary pressure on is when realistically we are doing fine and a top 6 finish would be an excellent result.

With the amount of games, we have lost, we have shown ourselves to be incapable of a title challenge.

However, we are near the top and seem to have found some resilience in the last few games.  We are nearing a fully fit squad with elite players.

I feel we will have a brilliant run of games soon.  At some point, I feel we will probably have a run of three or four games of terrible results.

I am not one to sit on the fence: we will finish between 1st and 12th.

This year every team seems to be capable of have a poor run of form to be fair, for example.

Liverpool have taken 2 point from the last 3, and haven't won in 3.

Chelsea have won 1 in 5.

That's already happened, so not really a fantasy.

100% I haven't read many posts saying we will win it, just that we can, like probably 10 other team in the league at the moment.

I just don't think Bob from Syston writing on a forum we are going to win the League puts extra pressure on the team.

That's a great point actually. I think us getting excited can only lead to our own ecstasy or disappointment. I'm not sure it affects the players all that much. We're not even in the stadiums at the moment.

However, if it was Colin from Coalville .......  then that might be a different matter ........

Believe, Dont fear that belief...

some fans ,no alot of fans,Dont dare to give the thought an airing.

For me has a fan, I always  believe all is possible, isnt it Football that allows is to put those hopes & Dreams on the table, and Not Keep them in the draw.

Throw Caution to the wind, Spit in the face ....etc,etc...

I can always find reasons Why we wont...but I will give some that allows us to dream well Why not.!!!

# 99% of Our players wont have a Full Extended season behind them as expected..Though .Tielemans/Justin/Schmeichel have

# Injuries have prevented us playing at Anytime our Full contingent of those Quality players

# Festive period reached and over, best players just Now returning

# Those problems have been Held low key by Rodgers..

# We are happily Low on everybodies  radar

# Our fringe players have produced Top individual & team performances...

# Our own  expected And unexpected inconsistencies have been Shadowed by big teams dropping unexpected points with very avg performances..

# Young players, Justin,Barnes,Fofana, Thomas, Holding their own a giving us MOM moments

# Goals Not just Coming from Vardy

# Players Keeping grounded, Not Full of false grandeure.

# Rodgers has been Thrown some Curve balls and Faced up. Many degressors Not even taken the Time to find out squad availability or selection problems.

# Rodgers Not a Moaning imbecile like some of his peers, so doesn't give too much away

# Can be improved, but One of our best ever squads...

# Despite last years Fall off,Nobody But the fans, Losing it...Players no Fall in Spirit or motivation and moping around..

# This team, fully fit has Not yet had the Time together to Show their potential...

# No Team with games in hand, have shown any consistency that they can Play Catch up and Runaway with it..!!

# The Base of the squad is young showing potential and find themselves in Top 3...

Only some positives..Plus Why Grind on about Why not....!!

Those are some catchy hashtags.

I can see them trending by tonight.

This is football, this is foxestalk...its Impossible to have a serious Conversation about anything realistic....So far better to dream..

The crux is..to be Mature enough to Ride the failure or success wave with the same panache....

My punt is we'll finish behind man utd, liverpool and man city for certain. And anyone's guess who'll get fourth; probably  chelsea but could as easily  be us, spurs or Everton.

The aim is to avoid seventh and the with it the bum europa spot (assuming the cup is won by a top 6 side) . And we'll have done really really well if we do that

Our 3 games in March are Brighton, Sheffield United an Burnley, plus a potential Europa two legger and an FA Cup game

If we're second going into March, those three games will define whether we go into the run in challengers, and I think we all know that.

Given our history, there's the potential to come out of those three games with 3 points lol

If Aguero comes back bagging it’s Man City’s title in my opinion. Liverpool and Utd will be close behind them.

As for us... If we can beat Southampton and Chelsea and Leeds. I’ll start talking about a title like it’s a possibility - until then the target is any European qualification!

Man City play 5 bottom 7 clubs in their next 6 games. Hard to see them not starting to pull away in that time. Top 6 remains the target for me. Really want to get back in the EL at least.

Brendan and the lads are on here every day 👀

widely known @Col city fan is ex player GTF and he is reporting back to the dinner ladies who in turn tell the cleaners who eventually tell the player liaison guys who then let management know, his reward is extra gravy when he pops in on pie and mash day 🤣🤣

Southampton don’t have a game in hand. One of the games in hand Villa and Man City have is against each other - they both can’t win.

You're right, my bad. My point still stands.
