Yes, it's so frustrating when you know what he is capable of. You'd think he'd really want to turn up in these games if he is ever to move to a big(ger) club.

I mean he's picking up space which is drawing players to him and away from Youri. He's also got an assist. Not sure what you want from him?

Maddison has been poor. But even a poor Maddison is way more likely to produce a moment of magic than Praet.

Because they draw players to themselves, away from each other. Sometimes Youri gets crowded out, sometimes Maddison does. Watch how they play in the second half, it's almost certainly a tactic by opposition to limit our creativity.
