Tommy G Posted 10 March Posted 10 March Dread to think how much we are paying him. Last good game was under Enzo, another player with an unnecessary extension, lob him on the pile with the others. 1

Most footballers wouldn't be charitable enough to leave it until they're out of contract and on their own, even if they're packing it in. I know LCFC Sheff was just speculating though, just don't think it makes a lot of sense. Age has just caught up.
moore_94 Posted 3 April Posted 3 April (edited) So weird watching him from the corner they scored from The instant the corner is taken and he see's the ball is going towards the back of the box he is straight away from the post and to the 6 yard box line Have he and all the players been told to basically pack the middle of the 6 yard box as soon as the corner is taken? Because perhaps he feels it’s worth the sacrifice to us and himself if we stay up? Probably not the case but just feel he has really really dropped off recently
Leicester_Loyal Posted 3 April Posted 3 April Should have gone 2 years ago, his decline has been rapid, just a drain of valuable resources at this point.
Will1981 Posted 4 April Posted 4 April It is crazy how little criticism he gets on here, for me he has been our worst player this season by a mile and nobody has cost us more goals. Has to go down as our worst ever captain. 1
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 4 April Posted 4 April That one on the halfway line in the first half Jesus Christ. It's like he doesn't understand his own legs have gone.

HarryDee8 Posted 6 April Posted 6 April Just playing aimless balls. For me he's had a nice stint, I think he needs to retire or go somewhere and have a change. Retirement would be good for him!!
CrazyKopCorner Posted 6 April Posted 6 April He's shot. No place for sentiment he's now another liability 4
The Doctor Posted 6 April Posted 6 April legs have gone completely, painful to watch him play at this point 3 1

He was never that good. He often got beat out wide and dived in. Although he was quite good attacking down the flanks.Steve Cooper knew he was done, but he got binned off for RVN. RVN played him and we went on the long disastrous run with Ricky in the thick of it. Should never have got a new contract.
Sunbury Fox Posted 6 April Posted 6 April Was truly abysmal again today. Very sad to see him these days.
jonny_wright Posted 6 April Posted 6 April (edited) He’s clearly going to retire when his insane contract ends in 11 weeks time, he’s done as a footballer. That 5 year deal he got after his ACL was incompetent, he never looked good enough since that Edited 6 April by jonny_wright
Rubbersoul Posted 6 April Posted 6 April Would’ve been better off just persisting with Aluko lol. At the very least he’d have got some experience. Such a Leicester under Aiyawatt bit of decision making. Stick with the clearly finished senior pro instead of trying something new 1
MC Prussian Posted 6 April Posted 6 April I agree, he's been very bad as of late. The amount of lacklustre, aimless passes are worrying. It started when he was more and more caught out of position as a RB, playing somewhere in the middle instead. Thanks for all the memories, Ricardo. But you are no captain material (any longer). Finish your career in Portugal, where the season isn't as tough as it is in the Championship.
Will1981 Posted 11 April Posted 11 April Worst captain in the history of the club Cooper knew he was crap but RVN, Marti and Rowatt are too Cowardly to relegate him to the U21's
