What a sad sad end to his legacy. Once one of the best players at the club and arguably the best right back in the prem. There were times where it was worth going to games just to watch him play.  
 

Now captaining us to league 1. 
 

Just so surreal

He just hasn’t got the personality for being captain ffs, anyone can see that surely. Can’t say boo to a goose 

 

never in a million years is he giving any of those players a bollocking in the changing rooms, not to mention how bad he has played this season.

He’s one of the very few that looks like he cares. 
 

Performances have been way below what we have come to expect from him this season. As mentioned, a real sad way to end his career here.

Nice guy, was a superb player, should’ve hung his boots up or walked away from us at the end of last season. Never going to be the voice the team needed this year. Awful end to his time here, will be damned by association with the charlatan bastards we have had to watch all year.

100%, at one point he was so good he could've played for Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Soft as sh!t club that gets the players it deserves. They'd rather re-sign crap like him than doing the hard graft and finding players to replace these failures.

 

I'm sick of seeing our players muscled out of everything.

This entirely. When anyone talks about sentimentality in future, remind them of Ricardo. You know full well his agent would have been looking for the best deal for him. Surprise surprise, everywhere else knew he wasn’t up to it anymore.
