Why cannot Brendan bring on Albrighton for Amartey and push Ricardo into a back 4 before its 2-0

He can, but if he starts albrighton and we’re still one nil down, he can’t bring amartey on for albrighton can he.

I think this confirms we are done and heading for a similar collapse to last season. Unfortunately we won't drop to 5th but much further. If Maddison is not back ext game and Barnes by mid April we have no hope.

Change it Brendan you stubborn dickhead

Soyuncu poor.  Fofana poor.  Tavares not quite up to premier league speed.  Iheanacho and Vardy not in the game.

Just need three goals in the second half.

We've been awful.

Probably worth considering going four at the back, Amartey off, Albrighton on and try and put them under some pressure...

Imagine Adam Lallana dictating the game against you lol

He has a good scoring record against us ...wouldnt surprise me me if he didn’t ask potter to pick him tonight and promised a goal .....

im pretty sure that’s his fifth or sixth goal against us ?

As bad as anything we’ve put out under Rodgers. There’s an element of there being a huge difference between a team that can have a week off and a team that hasn’t had a rest for weeks but it’s all just too easy.

The formation isn’t working, Soyuncu is all at sea and it’d probably be preferable if we sent Amartey to sea. Don’t see how we get back into it but by god get Albrighton on for Amartey and bin this 3 at the back off

Vardy Vardy Vardy. What’s happened. He has to be fit otherwise he wouldn’t play. Besides his lay off for Tavares, every one of his touches has been a hesitant touch back to the player who played a pass.

Amartey has been a bomb scare. I’m the most positive fan you’ll meet but this is worrying. Thank god we have a break of sorts before Sheffield United.

Back 3 is a waste of time. Thought we learnt this from first half at Burnley? Fofana and Soyuncu no idea where they should be and just invites more pressure as Brighton sticking an extra man up front when we have the ball at the back. Also seem to have no options going forward even though we have 2 strikers on the pitch? Diabolical.

Issue is that we’re being dominated in midfield. No point play 3 at the back if we can’t defend. We’d be better pushing someone into midfield to try and win the 2nd balls.

1 minute stoppage time when McAllister was down injured twice. Then he only plays 50 seconds! Ffs.

Did us to favour to be honest

Soyoncu Ndidi Pereira and Vardy all look shot post injury and need more time, it’s like watching a Leicester tribute band - Tavares gives the ball away every time and Amartey is not of this level - Nacho is lost and the passing is woeful - otherwise brill.

Exactly what I was about to say.

I normally defend the side but we've looked awful today. (And the last few games too).

Never too early for whiskey is it??

Really poor first half.

castagne and Ricardo struggling to gives us attacking width.

nacho and Amarty off.

Go 433

albrighton left wing (Ricardo right)

Thomas to left back, Castange to RB

Lallana's running the show at walking pace.

Really struggling to create chances, can pass it around in our own half well enough if it's not Amartey under pressure, just not a whole lot of creativity, badly missing Maddison particularly. Söyuncu leaking space in defence too often.

Tavares doing quite well though. Doesn't look out of place.
