League table, different view

I get it. I think the idea was to make the disparities more stark, make plain who can catch whom and so on, treating Villa as point 'played 30' and then all other totals being the number of points more all those above have.

Doesn't help.

Give the man a break, will you, at least he is trying. lol

Is he?  I still haven't seen the author attempt to explain the opening post unless I missed it?  What is the methodology?  Why?  What does it teach us?

5 Chelsea 0 8.5 19 50
6 Liverpool 0 6.5 16 53

9 Arsenal 0 -0.5 8 43
10 Leeds 0 -0.5 0 49
11 Aston Villa 0 0 10 43

I've edited your table a above to 0 played for everyone,  (so basically end of the season) each game in hand worth 1.5 points average.

I can't edit the positions on my phone, but we'll finish 3rd, Chelsea over take West ham into 4th, Everton over take Spurs, and Leeds and Arsenal finish on same points after both being pipped by Villa.

So my final table prediction.

1. Man city

2. Man U

3. Leicester

4. Chelsea

5. West Ham

6. Liverpool

7. Everton

8. Spurs

9. Villa

10. Arsenal

11. Leeds

I think this table is showing the gap between Aston Villa and each team, with the games played being how many extra each team has played compared to them. So we've got a 12 point gap vs Villa but played 1 game more.

I think that's it, otherwise I've got no clue either 😂

You can see the Big Six bias when Manchester City get 15 points for a win but Leeds only one.

Not sure on the logic of the name changes: I'm sure we can come up with better:

Manchester Sportswashers
Manchester In The Red
Chelsea Reviled
Liverpool Arrogance
Tottenham Wannabes

North London WTFs
