Some people saying the Watford player was offside, that’s why the pen wasn’t given

When can we expect the 2021/2022 - The Run In and Top 4 chances thread being made this year?

I get that we don't like Spurs, but don't be so blind to say that's a penalty lol

Keeper gets there first.

Looks to me that watford player touched it first and then taken out. I would need to see it on slow play as my eyes need help but i could swear he kicks it to the side (and based on the angle in which the goalie is running in and attempting to push away is the same angle in which the player kicks it in. Need var on it!

I'm really confused cause I thought he got the ball but it seems a bit up in the air. I can see why VAR didn't intervene

Exactly, I think Pedro got the ball and that it looked a pen, but I wouldn't call it clear and obvious either way. Wouldn't hurt to have a on pitch monitor review

Yep in agreement here.

I actually don’t think VAR has made a mistake in the big three talking points today. The Silva moment has evidence of a pull and that’s the deciding factor for me on that one. The other two are so minimal, it’s so difficult to tell.

Arsenal fans moaning about the ref - it’s only that Odegaard decision I can see why. What Gabriel did was idiotic and Ramsdale should be given a suspension as well

Newcastle United getting games postponed for injuries and Covid so they can get players in the January window and have a better chance of staying up. But are injuries a valid reason? It seems they want to avoid playing at the moment because they will likely not win and become more adrift in the relegation zone.

It's so fuching obvious and cynical. Winds me up. Deserve to get relegated.

Anyone watching this Spurs game on USA Today by chance? The co-commentator is a ****ing boomer:

Talking about Winks: ”It always amazes me that an England player needs direction when coming onto the pitch. If you’re an England player you should know what to do”

”Spurs have delivered poor quality from crosses. When I was playing you’d just pick an area and hit it”

Absolute dinosaur.

 It was Gary Birtles
