I also thought about this today. It’s as if he’s just vanished into thin air.

He hasn’t. The media won’t be allowed to publish any details of the story given it involves or involved a minor. It’s the procedure during such cases as they don’t want to prejudice it. ‘Tommy Robinson’ recently affected such a case and nearly got it throw out of court.

I won’t go into specifics - but these cases can have legacies which allow the Police/PPS to be on a greater goal. Alerting the general public to names and details can affect this.

Maddison was at Harry Potter Land too 😂

At least I can’t accuse Rodgers of running them into the ground this weekend

He was watching Celtic yesterday

I know he literally hasn’t vanished but I mean since he’s been accused and suspended from Everton, there’s been no word regarding him or even a single photo of him since the accusation. I can assume cases like this are very delicate but I’m just surprised we haven’t heard anything regarding said ones outcome.

I’ve just read the report on it. Unbelievable if true.

She's a very successful and creative liar if not.

Most of the time, I don't think women lie about that stuff.

Men, particularly entitled men(perhaps in a less patriarchal world that would be people), are dangerous.

Can we just agree that if you're covered in tattoos and Balenciaga and listen to the likes of Drake (that's an assumption on my part, but let's be honest a safe one), you're probably a massive weapon.

Such a weird set of blokes about at the moment. Being a bad man is regarded cool. When I was in school, 'chavs' were laughed at. In my eyes, every other person falls into that category now. Certainly in that sort of age bracket.

Equally, play with fire and expect to get burnt.

Absolute morons, both of them.

The media are legally bound not to make any comment. There’s bit of a backlog within the courts as well at the moment

Really grim.  How do our young men grow up to think that is acceptable behavior, to anyone, let alone someone they profess to love.

Edit:  this is re Greenwood, not Everton appointing Lampard...

How can you judge someone like that? lol Half of what’s wrong with the world. Just because someone doesn’t dress like you or have similar interests doesn’t instantly mean they’re a “massive weapon”.

It's not a matter of taste, it's one of principle.

If you're spending thousands on sh*te clothing regardless of whether you can afford it, you're flashy.

If you listen to music that champions disrespecting women and violence, you're a tool.

It has nothing to do with taste. I don't like heavy metal or classical music, but you won't catch me slagging that off.

Oh, I 100% agree with you in that such massive stories should be used to draw attention to the matter and used to give other victims a voice. No arguments there.

However, anything specific to this case such as "I heard he's this or I was told she done that" can effect the case both for and against both parties in that it can sway a jury with a misconception that may or may not be accurate. This can hurt the case and prevent justice from being done.

So by all means, use it to flame the fires of publicity that will promote positive change but not at the expense of a fair and accurate trial.

Ah, been reading the past few pages trying to understand why people shouldn't say anything online and this makes sense! Thanks.

Having said that, it's all well and good saying 'be careful what you say online', but, people notoriously *arent* careful what they say online, and being told to do otherwise is hardly going to change their actions!

I can only hope football takes the right stand here. The game has an opportunity to stamp down its foot against domestic abuse and send a clear message that it is not acceptable and we do not accept people that think it's acceptable in our game irrelevant of who you are or how well you can kick a ball.

All I can say is that the ridiculous 'on a bender' song some of our lot sing fits rather nicely for Mr. Greenwood's name. If you're gonna sing it, sing it about him or Mr. Everton Man rather than throwing around libellous and/or homophobic BS about folks like Klopp and Elton John.

Read it.. have your adult children read it... have everyone read it...

See What You Made Me Do by Jess Hill | Review essay by Alecia Simmonds

No doubt a very good and worthwhile tome but unfortunately the kind of creature that thinks it's ok to do these horrible things wouldn't read this or any other book and wouldn't listen to anyone who had, power and control are drugs and they (the perpetrators) get progressively worse as their victims are more and more dehumanised. And lets not forget the heartbreaking murder of little Star before we think this is exclusive to men.

I really despair of the human race more than sometimes.

Oh come on!! You've got to be a bit of a tool to pay £1200 for stuff normally available for free at your local skip?
