Two top five finishes in a row, European football two seasons in a row, won the FA Cup, won away to Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United & Tottenham in the same season, beaten the champions at home, won our Europa group all with multiple injuries. Whatever happens on the last day, I can’t be unhappy or disappointed. We’ve had more than we could have ever dreamed of the last five years, and I’m incredibly proud of that. Tonight is frustrating, especially the goals we conceded and the chance for Ayoze at the end. I am looking forward to getting back in our stadium Sunday, and whatever happens will happen 🦊

They really were up for it tonight. But the Referee was poor all game he let them away with too much from the start.

 

It was also a very soft penalty to give them.

for the record I completely agree - but he's an absolutely perfect fit for Chelsea. We got £50m for him. Live and let live. 

Its not bitter as I'm not bothered about him leaving us for Chelsea. I hate the fact that he's disrespected us in so many ways over the last few days in what he's said and how he's behaved.

I think Ricardo took exception to Chilwell being a cheating little ****. Was embarrassing from BC

Gutted Perez missed that chance. Would have been amazing. Thought first penalty chance Chelsea unlucky but penalty they did get was bull. Overall tough game, Chelsea turned up and so did their fans, unlike the final.

That’s the second time this season Perez has skyed a great chance late on that’s cost us points, the other being Palace away.

 

If we miss out on top 4 then tonight isn’t the reason, it’s losing nearly half of our home games. That being said, absolutely disgusting performance this evening.

Some honesty required here. Great season with the FA Cup win and to finish in the top 5 will be a great achievement.

 

But tonight was a lower table performance at best. Very poor and we were somewhat embarrassed being straight. Lucky it was not 4 or 5 to them.

 

I can't fathom why Rodgers persisted with some when Mendy and Praet stayed on the bench whilst Perez contributed zilch. Something wrong there. 

 

Let's hope there is a twist on the tail by Sunday FT. Who knows? But tonight showed we have work to do everywhere to be genuinely top 4. Personnel and tactics.
