To a point where it's really boring.

Yeah, they aren't great to watch usually in the Premier League but in the Championship they seem an exciting team.

Even early on the front runners look ahead of the rest- Fulham, WBA, Bournemouth all on 7 from 3. The dark horses like QPR and Luton have started well.

Not to do with their style of play, more that they are predictably good in the championship. Does anyone get excited by West Brom and Norwich's yo-yoing.

Checking the stats in the Championship and I'm always half surprised how bad the passing is down there. We had 87% pass accuracy against Wolves, and Wolves had 82%. But in the Championship it can literally be in the 40% or 50% mark in some games. What sport are the playing down there?

Get over it, maybe?

How is Sam Johnstone is still playing the championship, surprised no premier league club as gone in for him. Yet Ramsdale gets a big move to Arsenal despite having back to back relegation with Bournemouth and Sheffield United

Ramsdale to Arsenal is one of the worst signings I've ever seen for that amount of money.

Sell Martinez for £17m and sign Ramsdale for £24m.

Wut?

Arsenal signing all over isn't it?

Forest have started the season badly. Very badly. They have lost all 3 games so far in the Championship and maybe only another total lockdown will save them form relegation.

But do we care anymore? Or would you rather see Forest or Derby or Cov back where they think they belong?

Can't imagine Houghton has got a lot of time at Forest with the sack rate there, what's the odds of Chris Wilder showing up to replace him at the City Ground.

Warnock ranting there.

Careful, Colin, you might pop a bollock.  lol

Ref helped them a lot too !

Penalty

Red Card for QPR

10 minutes injury time

What more did he want ?

Forest usually start well as well. Derby somehow are in the top half.

Fulham & West Brom will stroll it as usual.

Tell you what I'm far from a football snob but 38% lol I want to watch this. That seems almost impossibly low.

What are they supposed to do if they haven’t got the finances to stop up? It’s more exciting than being stuck down the bottom of the Championship like so many teams are.

A club which lauded two total nut jobs as chairmen - get them down.

They are where they belong though. Both club's histories read as a second division team with brief periods of success, not the other way around.

West Brom are seriously formidable at this level.

I thought Fulham and Bournemouth would be up there but WBA seriously impressive so far.

Hopefully West Brom come up again.

Just quality isn't it. That's the difference. Us/Wolves/PL sides can buy quality players.

You're comparing that to Luton and Barnsley. There's sides in that division, Reading and Derby as examples, that are struggling to put sides together.

I don't ever want to play in that league again, don't get me wrong, but I also don't look down on lower divisions as some sort of PL snob.

At this point think I'd genuinely be glad for Cov if they ended up as dark horses this year and made the playoffs. They've been through enough in recent years, I think they deserve a little bit of positivity for once.

Now it's Derby's turn to have an existential crisis. Forest, meanwhile, are just laughably bad. Both will need city-wide counselling when Cov come up, we line up against each other in the Prem and it dawns on them that neither is even the second-most successful club in the region. :fishing:

I can see Luton being the surprised to get promoted this season, when was the last time they were in the top flight?

1991/92

Last season before the Premier league,.

Could have made a whole lot of difference to them I guess had they stayed up?

1991-92. Before the PL was made.

QPR dark horses, for me.
