This was a government requirement for the FA Cup Final/Euro 2020 games (which were part of a research programme). So I think this is the first time a stadium owner (in this case, the FA) will ask fans to do this when they don't legally have to... The 11-and-over thing is annoying. My eldest turns 11 at the end of Sept, and it would be a pain to make him do a lateral flow test every two weeks (and those things are iffy enough--two false positives at his school last term.) Wife and I have both checked to make sure the NHS app is giving us our COVID passes, and accept the brave new world, but why force tests on those that can't get vaccinated?
Popular Post Spudulike Posted 27 July 2021 Popular Post Posted 27 July 2021 It would be brilliant if the organisers allowed each club to parade their trophies after the Shield has been presented etc. It would give us (and I don't mean me as I can't risk going) a chance to properly celebrate winning the FA Cup (and ManC with the PL & League Cup trophies). Probably some reason why they can't. 5
BirminghamFox Posted 27 July 2021 Posted 27 July 2021 As a season ticket holder, I'm away on holiday so will have to be TV for this one
dannythefox Posted 27 July 2021 Posted 27 July 2021 All tickets to be booked online 🤦🏻♂️ Shit going to hit the fan here when people can’t buy there kids tickets through there account because it’s says there too old 🤦🏻♂️

Come on, give them a break. They had to organise all this last minute with little notice period to the game! Not like they had weeks to plan it... 1

The rest is sponsors / corporate. Brings back a memory of the UTD match there, I was sat next to a guy with a couple of kids all decked out in EA Sports stuff, they had absolutely no interest in the football or "Soccer" as they called it. They were American but I intend no lazy stereotypes when I say that when they went for their fourth, yes fourth, lot of food in the FIRST HALF I gave the fazzy glare and the father acknowledged that he was sorry we had to keep getting out of seats to let them pass (they were not petite). They didn't come back for the second half, either gone home or vomiting in the loo's after their banquet. To be fair my home made foxes mask was a bit Wicker Man-esque and they probably still have nightmares of grumpy foxy man blocking the piggies path to their troughs. 1 5
RonnieTodger Posted 27 July 2021 Posted 27 July 2021 I'd advise screenshotting your NHS vaccine status QR code. It was a bastard to get on the app during the Euros 3 1

My cousin brought her new American husband to his first 'soccer' match which just happened to be at Filbert St vs NottsF. He was dismayed to find their seats were not close to the Isles to get his hot dogs and beer from the attendant but expected it would be OK as in the US they pass the cash along the row and the food gets passed back. I had to explain to him that if he tries that at Filbert Street then a) it's unlikely the money will get to the end of the row and b) if it did it was likely to be partially eaten or drunk on the way back. 5

gw_leics772 Posted 27 July 2021 Posted 27 July 2021 Just sent my wife details of an apartment and she asked me if it was next weekend. ****ed my head up. I replied, not this weekend coming but the one after that, on the 7th, just to be certain. 🤯

Its fair to manage people’s expectations on just how much of a ****ing shambles this is going to be

Southcoastfox08 Posted 27 July 2021 Posted 27 July 2021 Confused about testing for kids. NHS website says that under 16s do not need a pass for events. Maybe I'm missing something

Maybe I'm missing something States on the .gov website that lateral flow testing is for anyone over the age of 11. It could be a condition that Brent Council insisted on so that they'd grant a licence for full capacity.

Print it out and stick in your pocket. Check the valid to date on your COVID passport before you print it out as mine says valid to 29 thJuly but it will renew on the 30th.

Not sure how long it takes, but did this 5 hours ago and not had a text or email
