I think having the young players might benefit this England team. They don’t have the same battle scars, history etc. 
 

No one expects them. 
 

I said I thought we could win this by being boring and pragmatic. Tonight we’ve shown that we can improve and go through the gears. 
 

Then you look at the vast array of talent we have sitting on the bench. They’d get in to most other teams in this tournament.

Some of the tactical criticism he receives is fair but it’s the personal abuse he gets that I have a problem with.

Hes a decent bloke and people forget he got death threats after Euro 96 for that pen miss. When I did my FA level 1, our FA coach had nothing but praise for GS and what he’s done for the England set up.

I’ll be delighted for him personally if we win this.
