Some of the salty fans on Twitter again is brilliant . Also a lot of fans jealous and saying how good a run club we are and putting their clubs to shame . You just love to see it .

What number do you think he will wear? He had 24 at Lille, but Mendy has that number at the moment. Maybe they will give that number to Soumare, but that seems a bit harsh on Mendy who I think will stay at the club.

 

I think Hamza will move on now, with 20 going to Daka.

Good question, but I see Mendy as Ndidi backup and Soumare as Tielemans back-up. Youri basically played every game last season and we were lucky he didn't get injured.

 

Praet is / was Maddison's backup, but now we have Maddison, Perez and Praet competing for that position, as I think Perez at right wing won't be seen as often next season. Praet I think goes, not because he's not good enough but probably because he wants to play every game somewhere. Rodgers I think will want to keep him though.

Flog Hamza and Praet or Perez (even both). KDH is our utility 3rd choice in a deep lying midfield or attacking midfield role. Will be good for 10-15 games next season.

Which considering he's scored once and has about 2 assists in over 100 games is absolute sorcery.

That's exactly the type of player he has been likened too.

 

Yaya Toure took the ball from deep and drove forwards with the ball, getting a team from defence to attack quickly. Vieira for Arsenal was the same. But like Toure as opposed to Vieira, Soumare is less combative, though can still tackle. Probably not as good at free kicks as Toure though!
