urban.spaceman Posted 31 July 2021 Posted 31 July 2021 It's OK they've gone for Grealish instead. £100m deal, paid in £5m instalments and should be just about paid off by the time he retires. 1
urban.spaceman Posted 31 July 2021 Posted 31 July 2021 Seriously though how much effort do Arsenal fans put into this sort of thing?!
JamesfromlondonLCFC Posted 31 July 2021 Posted 31 July 2021 Fab just said Leicester have no intention of selling. would require a crazy bid. so status is the same as always basically 1

turlo Posted 31 July 2021 Posted 31 July 2021 If his Mrs has gone into labour he ain't gonna up sticks and move down south anytime soon. Assuming she's already living with him in the Midlands and will bring the kid up there.
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 31 July 2021 Posted 31 July 2021 (edited) I remember acouple of years ago when Arsenal fans (Ali G types or what you are watching in the UK now 'Man like Mobeen' types) went crazy thinking Mahrez had been seen driving to the their stadium thinking he was about to join them and they where all gathered there surrounding any fancy car and shouting 'its Mahrez'. ... Crazy bunch of supporters Edited 31 July 2021 by CrispinLA in Texas

Gooners still going on at him about coming to Arsenal and giving his little lad the pay packet he deserves.

I suspect it has always been a problem for him and that is why he has chosen not to. My friend also did not play with them as his calf muscle was so big. He also wore his socks down as they also could not get them over his calf. He had a thunderous shot though. I was just reminded, in a pic taken at the Wycombe game, that Little Wes plays socks down as well! Grealish does have large calves and that could be the reason (although I'm sure there's a bespoke tailoring service for 'outsize' footballers). Now you've got me thinking where the power comes from in shots! Roberto Carlos had very well developed legs, but I think there's a few factors that go to create powerful shots. Up until a few years ago I had my grandad's shin pads (inherited but never used - foam and plastic were the thing when I played) - which he wore in a long career with Hinckley Athletic before and after WW1. They were bamboo strips set into slots sewn into canvas! Better than nothing...but not much.
mozartfox Posted 1 August 2021 Posted 1 August 2021 In the Sun on-line - so must be true........ 'According to the AFC Bell, Maddison is not seen as 'untouchable' by the Foxes, who are willing to do a deal at the right price'.
Corky Posted 1 August 2021 Posted 1 August 2021 Virtually everyone is willing to do a deal at the right price. Put a bid in then we'll talk.
