The last Wycombe loss lead to a 12 year long curse, until we beat them in the League Cup in 2013 - and ever since then it's been great.

 

Tonight is a turning point. This is the game we will look back on when we're 3-0 down at Oakwell in a few years.

I'm not reading anything into these games. 

Our main 11 (that's available) are cruising through the game with no real urgency other than increasing match fitness. 

Then we fill 3 / 4 spots with Academy lads who arguably try to hard, overplay and give the ball away. Then theres 11 changes with a team that do not play regular in that shape, all a recipe for an average display. 

Wycombe by contrast go all guns blazing for the win. 

These are nothing more than training games and approached as such.
