We're all entitled to an opinion, but your sniping against Rodgers is so utterly, completely off the mark...

(FWIW my opinion is Praet = meh.)

I'll get over it.

Wouldn’t surprise me if an offer came in around 40m we’d seriously consider it! Brendan has never seemed to be Kelechi’s biggest fan and with Edouard having a year left of his deal at Celtic (who Brendan loves) the possibility of getting him in along with a decent winger for around the amount we’d get for Kelechi would seem like a decent move…. Issue is I can’t see Roma lobbing about that sort of money lol

Is that Dickhead still at Roma - the one that offered us UKP30M to take Mahrez off of our hands?  If so, incoming bid of UKP15M for Kels.

How come random people on internet forum affect Vardy finding his spark?

i do aswell think that he is "done", this may be harsh wording but no one is disrespecting Vardy thats for sure.

ALMOST

I never said it stopped Vardy finding his spark, I’m not sure what made you interpret it that way. I just don’t think anyone should be vocalising concerns in such a derogatory manner and certainly not after a few preseason games as it’s disrespectful.

He has looked off the pace many times in the past and has been written off then too but has always bounced back. I’ll back him to do the same again. Even if he isn’t quite as good I’d imagine he is far from ‘finished’.

Unpopular opinion: if we need to sell him to afford a starting-quality RW, I'd do it.

We're much better when we stick to a 1 striker / 3 "forward" system and Vardy with Daka should be all the central striker we need.

Kelechi is a square peg in all of our better systems. He can't play on the wing, he can only play a very specific role at 10 and he's suspect as a lone 9.

I would 10000% keep him and tell them to piss off if it had no impact on our ability to buy, we've really suffered with a lack of depth, especially in forward positions, and I don't actually want him to leave.

But if its Kelechi vs Madueke, Berardi etc? I think we've got to be pragmatic and address the greater need.

Edit: it's clearly a bullshit story btw

Fair comment. Doubt Roma can afford him personally, this feels to me just agent talk to get Abraham over the line. Would much prefer to keep him so we don't have to overplay Vardy and let him retire at his own pace.

The Sky Transfer Show are suggesting Kel would struggle to turn down a big team like Roma and can you say no when Mourinho is after you…… errrr , Brendan’s stock is quite high at the moment , no guarantee to start at Roma either and Mourinho not likely to even be at Roma in 18 months …but he is at little old Leicester so……

Oh yeah I'm pretty sure it's rubbish tabloid click bait.

But then that's my take on the Madueke rumour too, I just don't want Ric to be in pain.

Ric does it to himself most of the time, we can't be held responsible for it.

Kels has got a manager that understands him here. He seems to need his confidence lifting more than others, and Mourinho either protects his players or he tries to utterly destroy a players confidence.

Also, we would clearly be going straight into buying another striker if Kels leaves. So, unless that turns out to be Tammy I don't see the point.

Why anyone in their right mind would want to play for Mourinho is beyond me. He'll think nothing of throwing you under the bus if it deflects attention from his own deficiencies. Probably why Abraham doesn't want to go there.

I understand that fundamentally footballers are just employee numbers and tax codes, but I don't think we're the type of club to repay Kelechi's hard work last season and his work in getting there by selling him.

AS mentioned, if he wanted to go and the price is right then he would come on down to Roma.

Edouard may be even more keen to move now, given that he’s apparently no longer the preferred starter at Celtic. However, I think we can probably get him for free next summer (if we still want him).

One would have thought that Edouard would be more of a target for Roma than Kalichi. Cheaper as in final year and highly regarded also. Would be very sad to sell Iheanacho even with a massive offer considering how long it took him to show what he really has.

Hope he stays but everyone has a price.
Anything over 40m and we’ll consider it.
Really don’t get this nonsense that if he goes Ndidi will be unhappy and want to leave. Yes obviously he’ll be disappointed one of his mates has gone but he’s a professional footballer.

Love Iheanacho in a cult figure kind of way but an issue with him is he can be Lewandoski one minute and Akinbadbuy the next. He hit his stride last season in a formation that allowed us to play 2 strikers but with so many injuries at CB and a reluctance to play 442 I'm not entirely sure where he fits in? Hasn't he played him out wide right lately which we all know is not his position. Everyone knows he's also failed as a lone striker so fitting him into the 433 formation is going to be a problem.

Love the guy to bits and was so happy when he was banging the goals in just pointing out some issues we have and if we sold him and bought a natural right sided attacker I feel we'd have a lot more balance in the squad.

This always makes me laugh. For how many years has Jose been a washed-up nobody now? His reputation is nothing but a myth now, unless his reputation is to turn up at clubs, destroy the dressing room and get the sack for being an underachieving miserable ****. .

i swear all mourinho seems interested in these days, is falling out so spectacularly with everyone that he gets sacked with a massive severance package, and then move on to the next gullible club and repeat.
